My recent visit to "Curry and More" left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. The experience, particularly with the tomato soup, was nothing short of subpar and certainly not worth recommending.
The tomato soup was a low point of the evening. Regrettably, it seemed to have been sourced directly from a can that one could easily find in any regular grocery store. The lack of any distinctive flavor or freshness was painfully evident, giving the impression that minimal effort had been put into creating a culinary experience. To add insult to injury, it appeared as though the soup had been mindlessly reheated in a microwave oven, further diminishing any hope for a satisfying dining experience.
The blatant disregard for quality in the preparation of such a basic dish left me questioning the overall commitment to culinary excellence at "Curry and More". One expects a restaurant to take pride in its offerings, even the seemingly simple ones like tomato soup. Sadly, this was not the case here.
It's disheartening to witness a lack of effort in the kitchen, especially when patrons are paying for a dining experience that should surpass the convenience of a canned meal. While I cannot speak for the entirety of the menu, my experience with the tomato soup leaves me hesitant to explore other options on offer.
In conclusion, based on my disappointing encounter with the tomato soup, I cannot recommend "Curry and More" to fellow diners. A lack of culinary effort and attention to detail, particularly with a basic dish like tomato soup, casts a shadow over the overall dining experience. It's my hope that this review serves as constructive feedback, prompting improvements that would elevate the restaurant's standing among...
Read moreWow, just WOW! What a pleasant surprise and im absolutely hooked on Indian food now - if it’s from Curry & More!!! Knowing I was a newbie I let our clients and the owner order for us and I’m so happy we did.
Every single dish was exquisite. The sauces and additions were outstanding and the meats were cooked to perfection.
It’s hard to even pick a favorite dish as everything was so good but a few standouts were the crispy ball appetizers, the chicken in the orange sauce, of which I’ll put the correct name to later… And the initial flatbread dish (off the menu) that was so fluffy, It literally melted in your mouth.
The service was over the top and the cuisine was perfectly prepared by multiple Michelin Star chef Obi.
There are several locations and today we visited Oceanside. This is definitely flagged for repeat whenever we’re in the area.
Outstanding doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of how exquisite the food and cuisine is here! Obi, and the masters truly sent my taste buds into another hemisphere with a variety of dishes. It was like 1000 brunettes dancing on my taste buds.
Incredible service and some of the best quality and flavors I’ve ever experienced. I’m not even a curry fan and it left me begging for more. I’m actually having the leftovers for breakfast and it’s amazing even better this morning!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Chef Obi, said “I love the restaurant business”. Well, it shows! Will definitely repeat!

Read moreI wanted to come here because of the Bobby Flay connection and because a friend was told that they have really good Chole Bhatture.
The servers were very nice and friendly. Their British accent only made them nicer :)
Each entree comes with two sides (could be a naan, rice, raita, etc). I got the pindi channa masala (which is the chole) and the Bhatture. My friend got the coconut chicken curry and garlic naan. The pindi channa masala was DELICIOUS! Perfectly cooked and seasoned, it reminded me of home. The Bhatture were just ok. I wanted the crunch with the softness on the inside but I think they were a little more crunchy than I usually like them. They weren't super oily which is a big thing for me. The coconut chicken curry would probably have been good, but I think its allure faded in comparison to the pindi channa masala. The garlic naan was good. The raita was also very very good!
I would say the food rating is probably around 3.5 but I'm giving 4 stars for how nice everyone was. This is definitely my go-to place for pindi channa masala now!
