I usually rate a Mexican restaurant by how good is their salsa, Chile rellenos, horchata or another traditional drink and guacamole. The salsa did not have any flavor. I asked about the Chile relleno. The waiter said that they were busy today and had run out. Yet, I passed by earlier and there were never more than 4-5 cars. The horchata was watered down. I asked if this was normal. I was told that because customers have different taste they make the food a little more bland this is unfortunate. I ordered a seafood cocktail hoping that it would have some flavor. It barely had any flavor. The price they charge for items is too expensive for the quality and flavor of the food. Read moreHorrible dining experience. Had to keep asking the waiter for refills, missing food and drinks etc. Not once during our 2 hour dinner were we asked for refills. When asking for a refill after patiently waiting an hour, the response I was given was "well you know soda refills are a $1 right?" Really? Our bill was $300 the nerve to think I would decline refills over a $1.Here's the funny part, there was only one other small family in the entire restaurant, so can't say they were too busy on this one. Food was under seasoned and don't get me started on the pitch black lighting and DISGUSTING restrooms. Avoid if possible. Don't remember the last time I had such a horrible dining...

If you like 'em lightly crispy with fresh pico de gallo and cabbage, you will feel right at home here. Not pretneious at all, not trendy so therefore not expensive. A little rough on the interior and not much to look at, just good food served with a smile and friendly convo. Plus lots of Mex beers to choose from! Hubby and sister loved the mango margarita=) Sis loved the shrimp cocktail too...huge! 4 instead of 5 stars bc group thought rice and beans coulda used a kick but hey, no one's perfect!...
