Jean's Table — Restaurant in Ocoee

Having Jean's Table meal prep for my family has saved us time and money. I have inadvertently discovered that having Chef Mitch meal prep for my family has made me more productive at work on the weekdays, around the house on the weekends, and simply being more present with my family every day.

Previously, I would have to remember to pull a protein out of the freezer before heading to work, and if I forgot to do so, we would end up eating-out that night's dinner. If I did remember to begin defrosting something that morning, I would begin cooking in the evening and then clean the kitchen afterwards, including dishes. I only know how to make a few meals so I recycle the same menu week after week, but now, Chef Mitch provides my family with a variety of nutritious and delicious options. Since Chef Mitch has been delivering meals to my home on a weekly basis, I have completely erased the aforementioned steps from my mental task list and have noticed a paradigm shift in my thought processes. I have now replaced my "What am I going to make for dinner tonight and tomorrow night" & "I have to go to a packed Costco on Saturday, then Publix for these other things because Costco doesn't have items like cilantro", with "What am I going to fix around the house this weekend" & "Where should we go as a family this weekend to unwind?"

Although I would save money on cooking at home versus eating out, I've noticed that I'm saving way more money on doing things around the house myself versus paying someone to do things around the house for me. Plus, just like the workforce in the food sector, the workforce in the home improvement/handyman sector has seriously declined in quality of service and reliability in the last few years. One time I got fined by my HOA because my landscaping company failed to arrive when they were supposed (no call/no show). Now that I'm working on my house, I noticed that I'll be hard-pressed to find a handyman that will go the extra mile for my home the way I do, because I have an inherent interest in protecting my investment.

Overall, between the variety of foods, helping us slowly taper down our portion sizes (because I specifically asked for this), convenience of 'grab-and-go' home-cooked meals, and money-saving advantages of having my time freed up to tackle large-scale projects on my home and automobile, I couldn't be more happy with my decision to have Chef Mitch meal-prepping for my family!

When the weather cools down a bit, I'm going to try the at-home private chef option for a stay-at-home date night with my wife on my pool deck. I'm starting to not like being outside around people anymore. I'm also getting fed up with feeling societal pressures to leave a tip even when the service is terrible, or when I go to pick up my own food from a restaurant. Our chef is meal prepping for my wife, three kids, and myself for the entire week, and he truly goes above and beyond. One of the standout dishes was the Atlantic salmon with broccoli, mushrooms, and sweet potatoes. I’m very picky, but this was absolutely amazing! Excellent made from scratch a little gem that won’t last in this location. we had the mac & cheese, excellent balance of cream and bake. I will be craving this for quite some time . chicken wings with excellent sauce, fresh fish, collard greens, and sweet potatoes.
