Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Odenville

I quit going to Jack’s for a long time because the food and service in Odenville was horrible. Being that it is the only fast food restaurant in town, and one of the very few restaurants in general…that in itself says a lot. We have had a busy couple of weeks and I thought to try it again. I didn’t say anything when we stopped by a few weeks ago and a good portion of the menu was sold out, I just drove 30 minutes to somewhere else. Tried again a few days later and they couldn’t serve soft drinks, we ordered that time, and the food was ok, but definitely not great. It was obvious they don’t have a handle on how to handle inventory. We woke up late today and needed breakfast… breakfast, I thought, should be simple and easy and we could deal with Jack’s one more time, every location is going to have issues some days… I am used to the long wait times, and somewhat understand because it is the only fast food restaurant in town. However, we didn’t receive half of what we ordered, and what we did receive was cold and stale. Every time we have been to this location, currently or historically, it is filled with employees, more than it takes to run a good shift. It honestly seems that when they built a new building, they quit caring about quality or service. What Jack’s needs to realize is that the subpar standards at this Jack’s, makes people not want Jack’s from any location. Odenville Jack’s is tarnishing the entire brand. (And I am constantly hearing the same from the next city over in Argo… though I don’t go to that one) The ONLY thing keeping the Jack’s in Odenville open is lack of other options. Our church usually goes to the Odenville Jack's on Sunday night. We went in ordered and got our food within a reasonable time, however our pastor stood in line approximately 15-20 minutes with no services others in line left because line did not move at all, another member left went thru drive window came back in to set at table and the line inside was still at same people while member left went through drive thru and came back in. The older gentleman said he would not be back. I also ate there after morning church . when I know it's a lot more people eating and the crew does a good job, but this is ridiculous at night when it's not so crowded. I think the manager (Ms.Looney)has an attitude of not caring if she serves her customers. Also, want to give a shout out to Ms. MARY. She is so sweet! You've got a gem of an employee there if everyone did their job like her you would have the most successful Jack's in Alabama!

Well we tried you guys again still a disaster! Went in with my husband and grandloves and stood there to get waited on no one in sitting area two ahead of me one to go, the lady in front of me had to get chair to sit while waiting for someone to take her order everyone in slow motion I stood for a long time. Decided to stop and eat at Jack's in Odenville this morning . Go inside and there are no employees working the front. I am a patient person. One lady passes by the cash register and keeps on going never saying anything. Finally a short white lady with dark hair comes over to wait o us or so I believr. Let's call her fireplug because the codename OO7 is already taken.she is on her phone focused on what is important reading and texting. She tr to take our order. she ntently ignors what she is doing and sticks her fingers inside the cups we are going to be drinking from. Could have just handled the outside of the cups but that would have been way too sanitary to risk doing . At the same time she ignores infection control matter she is looking intently at her phone and says ask Andrea. Not sure who Andres is but perhaps she is the county health inspector and if so we .should ask her. Do you stick your hands inside the drinks when handling unclean cash bills and change. Later as we are sitting to eat this same employee to express her confidence and knowledge, walks by four seated customers and says I should be off.
