Brantley Creek Barbecue — Restaurant in Odessa

I ordered the Smash cheese burger with fries and the Smoky Sampler (brisket, sausage, turkey, ribs) with mac & cheese and potato salad. All the meats were miraculously delicious! I love BBQ and have tried lots and lots of BBQ all over the USA but Brantley's brisket is the best I have ever had. The meats were so tender and flavorful! All the sides were delicious, especially, the mac & cheese and the fries. Although BBQ sauce is not needed, the BBQ sauce generously provided in bottles on each table was delicious, too. The atmosphere is beautiful and family-friendly with a large children's play area. There are several different places to sit and enjoy your meal. My favorite part about my visit and what impressed me the most was that Brantley, the owner, was present the whole time. He is so laid back, friendly and accommodating. He seems to have a genuine heart for serving and pleasing his customers. Having Brantley there perusing around making sure everyone was happy was just wonderful! The employees all looked happy, were very interactive, friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate to give Brantley's a try. My only suggestions are to have a to-go window for people who need to order and leave and to have the prices for some popular drinks listed (house margarita, etc). Owee Brantley Creek Barbecue is hands down one of the best barbecue joints I have ever been to. The food is simply outstanding, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and inviting. My dining experience was nothing short of amazing, and I can confidently say that I have not had such delicious barbecue since my last visit to Houston.

From the moment I walked into Owee, I was greeted with the warmest welcome from the staff. The decor of the restaurant is rustic, yet modern, and the smells from the smoker immediately had my mouth watering. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, all of which are freshly prepared and expertly seasoned.

I was blown away by the tenderness and flavor of the brisket, which was perfectly smoked and melted in my mouth. The ribs were also a highlight, with a savory, smoky flavor that was complemented perfectly with their original BBQ sauce. I also had their mac and cheese as a side, which was creamy and cheesy and paired perfectly with the smoked meats.

So I came in around 6pm, waited in line for about 10 minutes, not bad. Decided to grab 2 draft beers will waiting to place our order, $15 for Mich Ultra before tip, okay whatever. Get to the window to place our order, out of BBQ, totally understand no problem. Maybe put up a sign letting people know that they will not be getting any kind of BBQ and can ONLY order 1 type of burger, just saying. Ordered 3 smash burgers and fries, $49 and some change. 1 burger no cheese, 1 burger all the way, 1 burger no tomato, easy enough. Placed the order to go since you can't call to place an order, that's fine too. Get home, the burger I ordered with no cheese, didn't come with any veggies either. The burger I ordered all the way was correct. The last burger with no tomato, had cheese only. I watched the lady write down in order our order, so I know it was correct when placed. When ALL you are serving is a burger, and 2 out of the 3 you get wrong, is a problem, even if you are "in training." The size of the fries were smaller than a small order and they were extremely soggy. The burgers and fries were not hot by the time we got home, we live maybe a half mile from the location.
