La Margarita Mexican Food — Restaurant in Odessa

I would not recommend this restaurant. Paid $43 bucks plus a tip for something we didn't eat. Waitress got a tip since she did refill my coke while I sat there attempting to find something on my plate that I could eat. Got the beef fajitas that came with beans, rice, and guacamole. The beef was nasty pot roast meat cooked in peanut oil without seasoning. There were literally two pieces of green bell pepper mixed in. The rice was undercooked, beans were cold and guacamole was old with crusty something in it. Basically inedible. We was still made to pay for the entire meal. Don't waste your money, go...

I have visited 3 times now and everytime the food is great. All 3 times it was during the week and the order was done quickly and correctly. I had heard about this place since they catered at my office and wanted to try it out. The quesadilla was tasty and so was the combination. This was the first time I have eaten cheese enchiladas that had any cheese in them. Every other restaurant just serves you a folded tortilla, but La Margarita was amazing. Much easier to get to now that the highway...

Don't get a "To-Go" cup! I was never informed I would be charged an extra $6.00--$3.00 for the cup and another approximately $3.00 for the drink. To make matters worse, the other people I was with did NOT get charged for a "To-Go" cup or drink. When I confronted the cashier, I was told the charge stood. Needless to say I will NOT be going back here. The food is not good either, so I'd much rather patronize another courteous Mexican food restaurant with better...
