Walking in to La Fiesta Bakery is like taking a step back in time. Nothing seems to have changed over the years as far back as I can remember going with my grandma and my mom almost 40 years ago. The burn in your eyes from the good ol stone oven. ( i think lol) the atmosphere takes me back to the days when people had respect for each other. The other customers that were in there this morning when I was waiting in line for my pan dulce were absolutely the EPITOME of respect, friendlyness, and union of days long forgotten. Most places you walk in now days grunt, whine and moan if it gets over crownded and are rude and hateful and very distrespectful. These chicanos/chicanas, Mexicanos did the complete opposite. Instead of complaining when more customers walked in it seems they welcomed them in and urged them to come on in! greeted everyone with so much respect!! And the raza that has been going there as long as I have knows exactly how long the line can get. It's like the feeling was the more the merrier. lol. Anyway, I just wanted to express my gratitude to the young lady at the counter helping all of us and to the other customers as well. It makes me very proud to be a...
Read moreMy first time here I went about 9/9:30 I'm not sure if they usually keep the cases stocked but I walked in and all the cases were empty and a line of people inside. Before I walked in I could smell the pan dulce from outside 🤤. I've heard so much good about them so a line was expected. The girls were walking back and forth to the back and taking orders and being very nice. You can hear them hard at work making the pan dulce in the back. I got conchas empanadas and pink cake I asked about some maranitos and unfortunately didn't have any 💔. Still happy with what I did get. Parking is tight though since they're on the corner of a 4-way...
Read moreMy best memories of my grandfather, Bernardo Hinojos are hearing the jingling of quarters, and walking down street getting a lil bit of EVERYTHING! It’s hard to have a favorite because it is ALL great, and that’s not over exaggerated. You wouldn’t think people would talk about a panaria like this, but when you try it, you will see. Gods own recipe given to this family owned company. I hope they know what a blessing they are, and have been. I hope they always pass this business down for many more years. My sister is here from the valley, and I’m up thinking of a surprise at breakfast “con cafe” just like...
