There really needs to be an option to give no stars for this specific Dominos store. I have been a pretty frequent (1-2 times per month) customer for the past 5 years. So overall, their service has been ok, not great- but above mediocre. My kids like pizza and sometimes it's easier/faster to order from the place a couple of blocks away. Never again. A few weeks ago we placed an order online and specifically requested no bacon on an item on our order. It arrived with bacon, so we had to discard it. Not a big issue, but we called the local store to let them know and they offered to add a replacement stuffed cheesy bread to our account, that we could redeem at any time. Now with that background story, I placed an order online today and called the store to have them send the previously offered replacement stuffed cheesy bread along with the items I had just ordered. I spoke with someone that first assumed I was calling because "my online order was messed up", which I clarified was not my issue and he apologized for making the assumption. I explained that I was calling to have the free stuffed cheesy bread that had been offered to make up for their prior mistake delivered with my order. I was told they can not honor online free item coupons unless I add them to my order online. I go through my long story and he finally says that he will give me a complementary stuffed cheesy bread even though it was not listed on my account, because according to him, it was better than losing a customer. He told me he was not the manager(he went on to telling me why he had refused to become the manager at some point-- not sure how that was relevant?) , but that he could make that exception since "Bob"(store manager) probably wouldn't authorize it. I thanked him and waited for my delivery. I will say, it arrived promptly, but I was soon disappointed when I was told by the unkept and strange looking delivery driver that there was an additional $2.50 charge for delivering their "complementary" cheesy bread. I explained it must be a mistake since I was already charged for delivery on my original order and the item was offered by them to make up for a previous mistake on their part. I had already signed his receipt and tipped him for the delivery, so I told him to just add it to my charge. He disrespectfully turned around and walked away. I called the store one more time and spoke with "Bob the manager" which was in short, the rudest and most unprofessional store manager I have ever come across. To make matters worse, he snarkily told me that I could come into the store and get the additional $2.50 and that I was disrespecting him, and he was ending the call. When does expressing your frustration as a customer become disrespectful? Is it when you realize that you are wrong and you'd prefer to end the call because you have no proper communication skills? Let me be clear, I did not call because I need the $2.50 to make it through life, but because it is unfair to treat customers so poorly. I know a corporation will not crumble over a dissatisfied customer, but hopefully enough people can make a difference to improve the customer service delivered at this facility and better management is brought into place....
Read moreI’m honestly done ordering from here for a while after the experience I had tonight, I ordered 1 regular simple pepperoni pizza and 1 side of cinnamon twists on DoorDash, I was waiting over one hour for it to be delivered, I contacted DoorDash support to get an update or help with my order as it was getting late and I have work early in the am, they told me I had to contact the store since (yes they go through DoorDash but they still have domino’s drivers delivering the food) I tried 3-4 times and was put on hold every time, even the DoorDash support agent tried to call, finally a man picked up he sounded like he was extremely not present in the situation, I explained what DoorDash told me and how I’ve been waiting over an hour now, he then was extremely short with me, he kept cutting me off telling me I had to go through DoorDash as I already explained they told me I had to contact dominos due to it not being fully delivered yet, he then told me the driver was heading out and would be at my location within 10-15 minutes I expressed my concerns for the quality of my food at that point and if it would still be fresh and warm, he seemed to be frustrated with that and again told me to go through DoorDash after I got the order. while I was in the contact support chat with a DoorDash agent trying to figure out the situation, not even 5 minutes later I got a text telling me my order was canceled. luckily DoorDash apologized for everything and gave me a full refund+ a credit, because ultimately it really wasn’t DoorDash’s fault this time and they still choose to refund me my whole amount. After reading a few recent reviews it does look like this is definitely a reoccurring problem here and that’s very sad, I hope it can be fixed soon so I can enjoy...
Read moreTo start, I used to be a gm of a major pizza chain so I do under how things work. Tonight I decided to order pizza because I have had this huge migraine and didn’t want to do anything. My order was a couple minutes late, no big deal I get it. I had specifically put on my order please just leave at door, be silent thinking they would leave it and go.. nope. That’s against policy. I have to meet the driver at the door. If I didn’t have such reactive dogs who bark, it wouldn’t be an issue. Then the driver didn’t bring my sauces and told me I had to call the store. So I did. I called the store and spoke to Collin, he apologized and said his driver would bring them back. SWEET? NOPE! Called at the 50 min mark and stated that I have been waiting almost an hour, now if I had ranch at home for my wings it wouldn’t be an issue. Collin then told me the driver delivered them and when I tried to say no one has been to my door or called me, he kept interrupting me. I stated that I used to my a gm of a pizza place so I don’t understand why it’s taken an hour when I live 3 mins away. He goes on to tell me he doesn’t know. He is the only one there but doesn’t know what happened. I asked if he had a tracking system in the store to see where his driver is and he said yes but it’s not live. After almost being belittled I told him ok. Can I please just get my sauces and please have the driver call when they get here. 10 mins later the driver shows up and bangs on my door almost police style with the wrong sauce. Just now worth the hassle. Collin can’t take responsibility of mistakes that were made. To add I asked for no crust seasoning, got that and my pizza was so mid cut it’s...
