We’re visiting Ashtabula from out of state. I have to say this is the WORST Dairy Queen I have ever ordered from! First of all, the teen that took our order didn’t give us a receipt. We then waited in the pickup window for over 20 minutes to get our blizzards. I asked how we were supposed to eat the blizzards when the ice cream was dripping out the side of the cup! There was no way to open it without ice cream spilling all over! The teen said to take the lid off and put it under the cup. Of course it spilled all over. Tried getting some napkins and the dispenser was empty. I put the dispenser up to the window while we waited for our other order. The kid took the dispenser and placed it inside the window and never refilled it! While we were waiting, I watched him scoop up the crunch topping for another person’s order with the cup filled with ice cream while getting his bare hand in it! 🤢 He didn’t bother to use the spoon. The bottom of the blizzard machine was covered with melted ice cream and discarded toppings. This DQ is very unsanitary and the workers are incompetent and uncaring. I feel sorry for the residents who live in this town full time. What an awful DQ!...
Read moreOnce again we have complaints for this location.
My wife just stopped in and purchased 2 blizzards one small royal fluffernutter and one medium tropical. The small blizzard barely reached the top of the cup.
She paid 11.80 for these and an empty cone .
Both blizzards were soup they didn't even resemble ice cream, not even shake consistency.
On top of that the tropical blizzard had strawberries in it which my wife is allergic to. Tropical blizzards don't have strawberries.
We order them all the time.
These are absolutely the worst items we have gotten from this location, and yes we have complained before.
Apparently your staff don't know what they are doing, either through poor training or they just don't care.
You never get napkins or carriers when getting multiple items. This location has gone downhill badly. I know we will no longer go to this location, which is a shame because we live around the corner. We will take our business to one of the mom and pop shops...
Read moreI love the Edgewood Dairy Queen! The place looks great! The employees are awesome! My family and I went for a sweet treat recently and sadly 2 of my kids can not have the ice cream cones because they have Celiac Disease ( which means they can not have anything with wheat, rye or barley in it) and the cones have wheat in them. So me being the type of mom I am I didnt want them to feel left out while the rest of us had our cones. So I brought their own Gluten Free cones with us. I asked the girls if they could put some ice cream in the ones I brought with us and they were more than happy to do it for me. The one girl even asked if I wanted her to put gloves while fixing my kids cones so she doesnt cross contaminate their cones. We have always received great service but tonight was EXCEPTIONAL service! So from a mom with kids who have food intolerances, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! Keep up...
