Nana's Diner — Restaurant in Ohio

I'm changing my review, here's why: I work with people with disabilities. We encourage our guys to make their own order to teach them to be independent - with help if needed. Upon ordering from the diner, I stated "Hi I have Bob with me, he's going to place an order. If you can't understand him just let me know" and Bob was nearing the end of his order and they hung up with no indication. We tried again, I believe we got the older gentleman and he hung up on us too. The third time, I had a different person ordering with me who had down syndrome. Hung up on again. I had to place the one order because my guy had his heart set on his omelet. When I entered the diner, I asked if they were having phone issues. The waiter was laughing saying she couldn't understand what they were saying. I said "so you hang up? 3 times?" We order from here quite a bit. A shame. Service times 1000!!! They want to take care of you and make sure you are happy. They anticipate everything from do you want water when you order hot tea or coffee to do you want honey and lemon with you tea. The corned beef hash was awesome! The biscuits and gravy very good. The decor is cool - diner! The bathrooms were clean enough to sit down if you needed to. :-) That's hard to find anywhere.

The owner and his staff were fun to talk to and we never felt like they ignored us even though the place was very busy. We felt like it was a continuing conversation. Our waitress was a dynamo, fast, accurate, laughing, having a great time, and making us feel like we mattered. She got the best percentage tip we've given in many years.

We rarely return to a place with all the options available to us. But we already decided we will return...

really great food way better since it's got new owners in it i used to be scared of the food but now it's off the chain the gravey hopefully could be thicker but other than that i cant wait to see the expansion in east canton at ne next posiable restraunt "nicoles" great idea and more room for more people which will be a plus with the service u got going on i i give them a thumbs up try it sometime great place a lil small but great food awsome people friendly place and best part its clean :P...
