Boku Superfood — Restaurant in Ojai

i started my introduction to Boku late one night on Evine Home Shopping channel.. I have MultipleSclerosis,Fibromyalgia, depression, Liver problem... THESE PRODUCTS HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE !!! I had to quit taking all my pharmaceutical medicines for all those diseases because of my liver problems so I started an organic- healthy eating-no GMOs/processed foods/hard carbs& cokes... GOOD foods, and I started Boku ,,, in tell everyone I can about it... I even took pictures of the ones I use so they are accessible on my phone to show people ! I NOW D O N T N E E E E E D horrible pharmaceuticals!!! I give my daughter the SweetMacha GreebTea pwdr so she dropped that POISON Energy-Drink-Bull crap ;) I FEEL BETTER THAN I HAD BEFIRE GETTING SICK, and, I definitely feel amazing now that I'm not on so much pharmaceuticals......... T R U S T ME, T R Y I T !!!!! but, you "can't put lipstick on a pig" and make it pretty,,,,,,, you do have to adapt better eating habits and stay away from Cokes and processed foods and drive through crap.....but, EVEYONE NEEDS THIS PRODUCT..... there's no way to physically consume by food on the daily, the nutrients that are in these powders!!! you have...

I'm surprised to see that there can be any negative reviews for this wonderful place. I am in Ojai a handful of times a year to host retreats and Boku is one of the "must go" places for me and my partner for a meal any time of day. We go there several times while we are in town, constantly craving the yummy treats and comfy environment. Staff has always been delightfully kind and personable - they even took about 10 minutes to give us recommendations for other places to try and sights to see while in Ojai our first time. Food has always been delicious and fresh, smoothies are refreshing and filling, and the baked goods that they get from other local establishments literally have my mouth watering right now from thinking about them. I'm leaving this review right now because Google Maps says they're "temporarily closed," and I'm going to be super sad if it isn't just temporary....

I am really sad about this company! We have been ordering from them (as a small business) for over 7 years, (when they were smaller and not all over the radio and as big as they are today). We were recently told that the minimum "wholesale" order is $500!!! This increase edges out the small business owner market. I suggested that if they needed to raise their prices (which is totally reasonable) to just raise the wholesale and retail price, rather than make it hard for small businesses to meet their new "minimum wholesale order". I know when companies get bigger, they often get greedy. It is a shame because this company really does have incredible products, but we will not be ordering from them...
