It is very unfortunate how downhill the dining experience has gone at Bellini's. I came for a Sunday brunch with a large group (for which we reserved the patio) but was told it was "too wet" to be seated out there. Instead we were put into a room that was made to only seat about 8 people COMFORTABLY; there was about 12 people and a baby in our group. From the beginning the service experience was lack-luster. I myself was not greeted nor brought water for about 10 minutes after sitting there. As more people continued to arrive the server seemed to be annoyed as if asking for drink menus or more water was bothersome. Each time she came into the room she would leave before we could finish asking a question. This leads to my next issue, someone in our group wanted to place a drink order to which the server came back and said that SHE couldn't make it because she was underage. It really didn't make sense since there was someone else behind the bar who she claimed to be the manager making drinks. The point was that they did not want to make it, period. Throughout our time there, there were constant passive-aggressive advances made (the server reaching over people/their food without permission, bring ketchup in plastic cups, someone not receiving their order, etc.). Not to mention that the manager declined to speak to our party about how poor the service was. It was really unsettling how easily she dismissed our claims, as if it didn't deserve to be acknowledged that we had such a poor experience. I honestly have no positives about my experience there, even my food lacked flavor. We were brought plates with garnishes that still had the produce sticker on it, there were water marks on the silverware, and were constantly given excuses as to why we couldn't order items a certain way. I am extremely disappointed at my time wasted at Bellini's and will not return, or recommend anyone to this establishment.

Bellini's Italian Restaurante and Grill turned out to be a little gem hidden off of 63rd and Waterford in the Oklahoma City area. While there is no illuminated neon sign to find the restaurant, we had to ask others in the parking lot if we were in the right place. Bellini's presents itself as an upscale Italian restaurant. The food and service would speak to that, while the atmosphere is somewhat dated and aged. Standard white table cloth, wine glasses and cloth napkin rolled silverware. Dinner started with a melba toast and cream cheese tasting spread that lacked flavor and texture. Standard Italian seasoned rolls with butter. I opted for the chicken parmesean and my wife ordered the chicken marsala. I food was delicious. Tomato basil spaghetti had a sweet rich roma tomato flavor with nicely chunked bites of the tomatoes. Just a hint of the basil was perfect. Didn't overpower the dish. The chicken parmesean was rather thick for my liking which caused it to be a little over cooked on the outside. Nice portion size and the olive oil flavor was a good touch. The chicken marsala was very delicious and the sauce was rich and creamy. Kudos. Again, portion sizes were adequate. Desert around the table consisted of tiramisu, creme brulee', chocolate cheesecake, and New York cheesecake. All nicely done, rich, sweet, shareable and unfinishable......Yes, satisfied. The only drawback of the evening I would raise would be the 9:00 closing time. They did announce last call, but promptly at 9:00 we felt the pressure to finish the celebration and leave. This was unfortunate as it took the celebratory vibe out of the group of almost 20. All in all it was a good time. True Italian celebrations are lots of food, flowing wine and liquor, sweet desserts and lots of laughter. We had all of this right up to 9:00.

We visited OKC from out of state, and made a reservation with Bellini’s after it was highly recommended to us. The food was great, and our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. With that being said, unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this restaurant. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers that the “manager” is extremely rude and unprofessional. The restaurant allowed us to make a dinner reservation at 7:30, and upon arriving, we were seated immediately. We ordered a few glasses of wine and an appetizer before our meal, and although they weren’t overly crowded, the waitress seemed extremely busy. She didn’t return to take our dinner order for about 15 to 20 minutes after the appetizer was brought out. Once we received our meals, at roughly 8:30, I ordered another glass of wine. The waitress returned to our table to tell us that the bar made a “last call” without her knowledge, then proceeded to say that they had to close early due to a private event and needed us to leave by 8:45. We politely asked to speak to a manager, in hopes that we could express our concerns about being allowed to make a reservation at 730, yet not being informed of an early closing. When the “manager” approached our table, she immediately said “you want another glass of wine”. My response was, “it’s not only that, I understand the private event, but as paying customers ourselves, why would you allow us to make a reservation at 730 without notifying us that you would be closing early and….” At this point I was cut off and she responded by saying, “I made a last call at the bar because y’all need to chop chop”, which was followed with a hand clap. She immediately walked away to go get another glass of wine, and when she returned, my exact words were “you clapping your hands at me and stating that we needed to chop chop was extremely rude. We own businesses as well and would never treat our customers that way because it’s extremely unprofessional “. She then proceeded to tell me that she was sorry (which was in no way sincere) and didn’t mean to come across as rude but that the conversation was over and she was done talking to me and she had already apologized and wasn’t apologizing again. I was absolutely baffled at her lack of professionalism, rudeness and lack of proper manager training. I do hope the owner reads these reviews and takes into consideration that I am not the only one who has made a complaint on an online platform about her. The restaurant staff, other than the “manager”, was very nice, and the food was great. It’s too bad that the “manager” doesn’t carry herself with more class and dignity to represent her owner in a more professional way. I will admit, that when she returned with the check for us to pay, she proceeded to Keep talking about the wine. At this point I was done with being treated so poorly, so I took the check from her and said “we’re done talking to you as well”. Her response was “okay good”.

RESPONSE: When we left the restaurant we saw a sign on the door as we waited for our Uber, however, we did not notice this 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper as we entered the building, and I disagree that there were multiple signs. I’m very glad that the party of 8 left happy and didn’t have to encounter an inconsiderate manager, but I definitely know we did NOT have the same waitress. That specific table you’re referring to was finished with their meal before we were seated for our 7:30 reservation, however, their experience is none of my business. This review is about MY experience only, and you’re missing the point. It was extremely rude and disrespectful for you to clap your hands at me and say “chop chop” when our food was brought out 15 minutes before your early closing time. We did not leave a tip because as stated originally, she was too busy to serve us. I hope this is a learning experience for you and hope you consider treating all of your customers with respect. Luckily for me, our level of professionalism is not the same, therefore, your response holds no merit to me. Good luck in your...

A Disappointing Experience at Bellini's: Poor Service and Unfortunate Incidents

My recent visit to Bellini's left me deeply dissatisfied and embarrassed due to a series of unfortunate incidents. From being served the wrong dish to a server's mistake with my wine order, and ultimately, the manager's refusal to address these issues appropriately, my dining experience was far from enjoyable.

Service and Wine Mishap: Upon arriving at Bellini's I ordered a glass of wine. However, to my surprise, the server brought a bottle instead. I immediately informed the server of the mistake, expecting a quick resolution. Unfortunately, the server's error was not acknowledged. The manager asked us to "look at the menu" for the unwanted bottle. My two friends received a Manhattan on the rocks and received the drink neat twice. The server was new and was a host previously. She is lacking training but was kind and helpful and mistakes happen. This lack of accountability and unwillingness to rectify the situation by her manager, Shawna, left me feeling frustrated and unheard. My credit card was charged twice.

Food Mix-Up and poor quality food: To compound my disappointment, the dish I ordered, veal parmigiana, was incorrectly served as chicken parmigiana. As a customer, I believe it is essential to receive what was ordered, especially when it comes to specific dietary preferences or restrictions. The fact that the kitchen staff failed to fulfill such a basic requirement further added to my dissatisfaction. The lobster bisque was cold a runny and did not include any seafood/lobster.

Manager's Unprofessional Response: When my dining companions and I politely requested to be charged for the class of wine not the bottle, the manager's response was shockingly inappropriate. Instead of addressing our concerns and attempting to rectify the situation, the manager escalated the matter unnecessarily by calling the police. This extreme reaction was not only unnecessary but also deeply embarrassing for us as patrons.

My experience at was marred by a series of unfortunate incidents, including a wine mishap, a food mix-up, and an unprofessional response from the manager. The lack of accountability, refusal to address mistakes, and the unnecessary involvement of law enforcement left me feeling disheartened and embarrassed. As a customer, I expected better service and a more professional approach to resolving issues. Regrettably, I cannot recommend Bellini's based on my experience, and I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously to improve their overall...
