I have recently become a regular here and had an odd experience this morning. I very clearly ordered a $6 meal deal with an iced coffee to drink and an egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. They told me my total was $10.30 which I found odd but thought it might be for the croissant or syrup. When I got my receipt I was charged for an extra bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. I immediately told the window, before getting my order handed to me. She said âwell you have to have that in order to get the mealâ which is not true. I said I donât eat bacon, so I donât want that. If you work in food service you know there are many reasons Dunkinâ offers just an egg and cheese as an option. Vegetarians, kosher, allergies. Itâs perfectly reasonable. She got the manager, and when the manger came to the window instead of asking me what happened (which was most likely a new employee not knowing better), or what I needed refunded, she peered into my car and asked if I had been handed any food yet. I said no. Then she asked, âare you getting anything today? Do you need a full refund?â And I said no I was charged for a sandwich I never ordered. She said ok and I got my food after the refund. I just had to leave a review and document the odd customer service, Iâm not sure who is out there ordering food and within 5 seconds eating it all then asking for a refund, but seems like the manager is traumatized by that kind of experience. Felt weird to be...
Read moreWe put in a large pickup order which we were only told that 2 items were not available however about half of the order was wrong when we got home. 2 specialty donuts cookie butter which was out so we substituted coconuts We ordered 1 dozen: 2 boston kreme, 2 jelly, 2 vanilla cream, 2 bavarian crème, 2 chocolate cream, 2 lemon The only ones the girl told us you were out of was the cookie butter, however In the dozen, we did not get any chocolate crème, nor Bavarian crème, without notification for substitution. Instead we got: 2 boston kremes, 4 jelly 4 vanilla cream and let me say, the lemon is too sweet as well as the vanilla crème, which is Not vanilla but just white frosting extra sweet, way too sweet for a donut. Vanilla cream is supposed to be vanilla just so you know, so call your frosting filled donuts something else so people know what to expect when biting into them. Plus very little filling in most at all. We spent $18.86 and the donuts were a total disappointment, not correct for over half the donuts ordered. And the donuts are dry. The only thing good was the coffee. We feel we are due for 14 donuts in refund to say the least, but with the overly sweet flavors thatâs even a poor...
Read moreAlmost every time I come here my order is wrong. Today takes the cake though. I ordered a coffee, sausage egg and cheese croissant, and 10 old fashioned munchkins. Not complicated. By this point I knew to check when immediately when I got my order. At glance the sandwich looked right, but I got 10 regular glazed instead of old fashioned. Coffee smelled right. Went back to correct the donuts. They then hand me 10 dark looking glazed ones and said âthese are old fashioned, not blueberry, they just look a little dark todayâ. Go to my car and taste one and it is DEFINITELY blueberry. Go back AGAIN and finally get the corrected ones. I drive home pull out my sandwich and low and behold, itâs just egg and cheese, no sausage. I just ate it at this point because I was so over it, but how do you mess up THAT badly on a not complicated order??? Iâve tried to give them multiple chances but out of the 5 times Iâve visited (all either similar to what I ordered today or even easier), theyâve only gotten my order correct ONE time. Iâve also gone in both morning and afternoon so I donât think âthe rushâ is even...
