Gone downhill. Aside from the MULTIPLE reviews below where people got sick, I Wont ever eat there again because of this experience. Served as horrible calamari that was totally inedible mixed in with the normal. It was rubbery and my son literally had to spit it out because it could not even be chewed. When I pointed it out they first said some people can chew it as if I don't know what calamari is like. In fact, I have had it there before. Then they said couldn't remake it because they had 5 boxes and they are all like that. I asked them why did they serve it if they know it was no good. The manager was very rude and said he wasn't charging for the food that was inedible. How generous. So the review below that stated they were unsanitary after chef dropped the utensil on the floor and still used it, the food going downhill and now this isxthe last straw. Not spending 40 dollars for two people for lunch to get horrible service, inedible food and poor treatment. Sad, because I used to take my son here almost every week. Read moreAt first it was good. The service was nice and prompt. Ordered 2 rolls and came out pretty quickly. While sitting there to pay I was watching the line prep guy for the sushi bar. He dropped one of those paper needles that waiters and waitresses use to put served tickets on. Not sure what they are called though. Besides the point. He was going to use it to cut the cream cheese. Ok whatever works. He dropped it on the floor though. Thinking with someone sitting there he would have washed it properly. He did not. The wet wash cloth he had in his prep bar top was used to clean it. Ok no problem. Here is the kicker, he put the cloth back on the bar after wiping his hands off with the same exact cloth. He didnt wash the needle thing. He didnt wash his hands after wiping them off with it. He didnt sanitize the bar top. All of that said he continued to cut the cream cheese with the needle and never washed his hands. This is just as equivalent to having a hair in my food. If not worse. Read moreFinding the restaurant was a bit complicated because it is in a unassuming area. However, inside the restaurant is stunning.
Inside the restaurant was very clean, almost spotless. The tables were absolutely beautiful. The decor and everything inside were gorgeous. It is the perfect place to take someone on a date and everything. It looks that good. There is a great variety of items ranging from $2-$20,and the portions are huge. I didn't leave hungry. The food was flavorful as well!
The service was pretty good and the main reasons why I gave it four stars. The service was excellent. I got my food quickly. The server was patient enough to answer my questions and to even give me another spoon. I personally gave it four stars because the servers were a little too serious for my taste. It's not something I am used to. Am I expecting the overly happy server experience the whole way through? Oh goodness, no. However, I did get the very polite and relaxing experience. It's nice to know what's expected before you dine somewhere.
