Hynson’s Classic Burgers Edmond — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

The food is really good here but the customer service and the prices are ridiculous.

And response to the owner: The manager today was incredibly rude, I did not receive my french fries or sides for any of the three meals that I had ordered. When I called, the employee politely referred me to the manager. After the manager answered, she was rude after I asked her how her day was going she said ,"I'm busy what do you need." I let her know that none of our french fries or sides were delivered and she immediately blamed it on the driver, and we even asked the driver about the delivery and he said that everything that was handed to him was in one bag and three drinks nothing else. And the manager responded to that with, " unfortunately that's not my problem, we handed everything to the driver, and you're going to have to get ahold of Grubhub or come in for your sides." She then asked what my name was so she could get my order ready again and I confronted her on how she knew what order she gave to the driver if she didn't know my name. And she didn't have much of a response after that. She just repeated herself back on making the order again and for me to come and pick it up. Which I explained to her that defeated the process of it being delivered. But she was not empathetic at all. But your burgers are delicious. Unfortunately my family will not dine in here again, and this is our 7th or 8th time...

As a first-time customer, I was highly disappointed after trying out the Oklahoma Grilled Onion Burger. I had to pay an extra $2 to substitute for the turkey burger. It still costs more to eat healthy. I'm assuming that's to offset food expenses because people most likely buy their beef burgers more. The onions were not grilled but tasted like they were previously cooked and stored in a container then reheated in oil. (I read reviews on Yelp before going and another customer pointed that out too.) I finished chewing up the meat before the onions!!! They were soggy!!! The turkey burger had no seasoning!!! Overall it tasted like something bought from Walmart or Sam’s Club that you would cook yourself. I can go to Jack in the Box and get their Grilled Chicken Combo with amazing seasoning and sauce for the price I paid to substitute for a healthy burger with no seasoning and...

Can I leave 10 stars!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for burgers, chicken strips, and fries!! Fam of 4 all got burgers (lunch special), hubby commented 3 times on how good the burger was. Daughter & I split a burger and kids chicken strips - I loved both! Great burgers and the strips had a chicken fry batter, great!! The fries are lightly battered and fantastic. We got cheese sauce for dipping, but fries were good as is!! Hubby liked the Hynson's sauce with fries (bit sweet that he likes). I got a side of Cajun seasoning to self add, I got a bit much to start - Start without, then add to liking. We'd eat at Hynson's more regularly if we lived closer!
