Paladar Cubano — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Great place, great music, and great food. First time coming to Paladin Cubano. The staff is very welcoming explained the menu and suggested best options on food. I had the Cuban sandwich, first time having a real Cuban sandwich. My mind was blown by the textures and the flavor. It had crispy crust, that you could hear and feel. The lean pork was cooked perfectly that is melted in your mouth. We got a side of plantains. Again a first time having. They almost look burnt and over cooked. When u bite in you are in heaven. My wife and I drove down to Paladar Cubano about a month ago and we were both extremely disappointed. The food was average at best and extremely overpriced. The ropa vieja is overpriced at $11 with shaved iceberg lettuce (no dressing) and rock-hard fried plantains as the sides. I've eaten at many Cuban restaurants all over the United States and overseas, and the food here is well below average. Your better option is to find a Mexican, Guatemalan or Salvadoran restaurant on...

Very limited menu. No beans for the rice. Rice was cold when it came out. Only 1 soda item and lemonade. Very very disappointed. I had visited this location awhile ago before they closed it down and the food was outstanding. Lots of menu options. I’m Puerto Rican and sometimes you just don’t want to cook.
