Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

THIS SONIC IS THE WORST SONIC I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. I WAITED 15 MINS AT ONE STALL, TO BE DISCONNECTED DURING MY ORDER, THEN I MOVE TO STALL NEXT TO ME AND IT TOOK THEM AN ADDITIONAL 5 MINS TO ANSWER THE SPEAKER TOTAL 20-25 MIN WAIT JUST TO HAVE MY ORDER PLACED. NOW KEEP IN MIND THERE WAS MINIMAL CARS ON THE LOT AND AFTER I EVEN DROVE AROUND AND COUNTED 5 TO BE EXACT AND 2 OF WHICH MUST HAVE BEEN EMPLOYEE CARS BECAUSE THEY HAD NO PERSON IN THEM. ONCE I FINALLY GOT THEM TO ANSWER AT THE SECOND STALL I BEGAN TO TELL THEM OF HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN WAITING, SO THEY SEND A "MANAGER' OUT. SHE SAYS SHE WOULD GLADLY TAKE MY ORDER AND IT WOULD BE FREE FOR THE WAIT, WITH THAT BEING SAID I SAID SURE PLEASE DO THAT. THEN 2 MINS LATER THE ACTUAL "MANAGER" COMES OUT AND SAYS THAT GIRL HAS NO AUTHORITY TO SAY IT WAS FREE OR NOT. AND THAT MY FOOD WOULD NOT BE FREE, BUT SHE WILL GIVE ME A DRINK FOR THE 30 MIN WAIT...AND THEN I SAID THAT LADY SAID ITS ALL FREE THE ACTUAL "MANAGER" GOES BACK IN AND COMES BACK OUT AND SAYS THAT GIRL TOLD HER THAT SHE NEVER SAID THAT!!! I WAS FURIOUS! I TOLD THEM I WILL NEVER EVER EVER COME TO THAT SONIC AGAIN!!!!! THE WORST AND POOREST SERVICE ANYONE COULD POSSIBLY GO THOUGH!!! YOU SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED OF YOUR STORE MANAGERS POOR QUALITY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE...TO ME THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT THAT MEANS. I JUST CALLED THIS STORE TO GET CORPORATE NUMBER..LOW AND BEHOLD, NO ANSWER. THIS BETTER BE...

Don’t come here. I came here several weeks ago and got the chili cheese fries and the fries were super old and stale but I couldn’t go back to get it replaced so I just chalked it up as a loss. I just came back to try again and when I ordered I asked them for fresh fries, nicely and told them I’d be happy to wait, operator replied “well I’m not in the kitchen so I can’t control that, but I’ll make a note.” Just rude for asking for good food and I know their kitchen is literally on the other side of the wall so it’s not like it’s a lot of effort to talk to the kitchen. Then when they brought them out to me, the hopper had to tell me that the fries are the new groovy fries so they are going to be crunchier so that’s probably what it was (basically saying I’m full of it) then they put my fork INSIDE my chili cheese fries so I had to dig it out and no telling where that plastic was before the fries. Eww! Definitely not eating these and never coming back. What’s worse is I was the only customer here so idk what they were doing but clearly I was...

Went to this location this afternoon. Looked at the menu for about 3 minutes then hit the red button… it said “red button has been activated” and literally nothing for 10 minutes. It then SHUT OFF and made me hit it AGAIN. At this point we’ve been sitting in the parking lot for 15 minutes. Someone FINALLY takes our order, I simply asked for “2 pulled pork sandwiches and 2 soft pretzels “

The employee goes “2 barbecue sandwiches and what else?” 🤦🏻‍♀️ I said “2 soft pretzels”

Food FINALLY comes out and the lady says “ok here’s 2 barbecue sandwiches and a pretzel” I said “uhh I ordered 2?” She goes “oh we only have one” (At this point I’m not surprised… but like it was a simple order? 2 sandwiches and 2 pretzels??) Then they put in another one for me. Bring it out in a few minutes and it’s obviously over done. I worked in the industry for over 10 years. I know when someone puts something in too hot of oil for a short amount of time to get it made quicker… I am SO glad there’s a sonic near my house cuz I will not be returning to this location....
