STORYTIME I went here twice - 2 weekends in a row. The first time we went, we did the shot roulette twice & the DJ was a girl, don’t remember her name but she was helpful when we wanted to buy drinks. My cousin was with me & it was a night they were giving out these mystery bags & my cousin picked one up & asked what they were & how could she get one. She got all rude with her & told her to put the bag back down if she wasn’t going to purchase it. We brushed that off because we were having a good time with the crowd that was there. But the SECOND TIME WE WENT - oh it was horrible! We ended up having to just walk out! There’s a short Hispanic lady at the front & she was laughing and joking with us the first time we were there, she followed us the whole night flirting with my cousin . I mean very friendly! - But this second time she literally followed us around & while we were standing at the bar waiting on our drinks to be made (from a bartender that was also very rude, impatient & obviously kept skipping us) she told my cousin that she couldn’t have her standing there & my cousin told her we were waiting on our drinks & she was rude & kept saying “well I can’t have you standing here” so we moved. Then we all went to the bathroom & it’s only one bathroom inside - one for women & one for men. We waited in the bathroom line for almost 10 mins & we kept knocking & it was a girl in there saying she was still in there & the men’s bathroom was empty & my cousin had to go really bad so she went to the men’s bathroom & the Hispanic lady knocked twice & OPENED THE DOOR while my cousin was using the bathroom & told her she needed to get out now. My cousin told her she couldn’t hold it any longer & that she had waited so long for the other bathroom to open & it never did & the Hispanic lady said “I don’t care, you need to get up & get out now. You can go outside.” And I said absolutely not & we left right after that.
Everybody that works here is literally rude & their faces are always frowned. None of them look happy. It’s definitely NOT worth it, I will NEVER...
Read moreI love this place, it's like my second home. It's just a couple minutes from downtown, but the drinks are almost HALF the price of anywhere in Bricktown or midtown. The Montana (as it's known by regulars) is genuinely a hidden treasure. It looks unsuspecting from the outside, but so full of charm and character that you feel as soon as you walk in. It's locally owned by two brothers who took it over from their late father and they've done an amazing job on remodeling during covid closures. They have live bands from time to time on their brand new patio, free pool on Sunday and Monday, and the best, most down-to-earth bartenders (seriously!). They also have karaoke on thursday, friday, and saturday starting at 9pm. If you have been here, you totally understand the vibe. Everyone feels like family, friends are made quickly, and strangers are rare. Old, young, diverse people of all kinds, and all kinds of music (also, Spanish friendly, Kari makes a hell of a Michelada). The beer is cold, the drinks are strong, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean. Do yourself a favor...
Read moreWe bought beer and shots they were having problems with the register and said they would bring us our change. That never happened! When my husband asks for ice cubes in my Honey Jack they gave him attitude. Then when he went to ask them what happened to his change they gave him attitude about that also. Maybe we went on a bad night we don't know it was our first time being there but the bar is laid out nicely and they have...
