Taco Nation — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

My 1st visit was for taco Tuesday and the line was out the door by 6pm. I ordered the surf and turf taco and a blue non alcoholic drink chips and salad. Then I saw the lunch sign from 11am-5pm two tacos and chips and salsa for $11.99. This has been my go to lunch special 2 to 3x a week. It's less busy & this special is your best bang for your buck.

The non alcoholic ocean sunset is great with tacos.

I always get a $7 frozen margarita. One week they created me off menu items like a frozen watermelon mint margarita, frozen ginger/grenadine margarita, frozen passion fruit margarita. Pineapple frozen margarita

I love the Mahi Mahi fish taco ;one will fill you up. The surf & turf taco with shrimp & lean steak is my best of both worlds. The chimichurri steak is awesome! The chicken lime taco

I like to top the green chilli sauce on the tacos & in the salsa dip. Because the chips are deep fried/ flashed fried you have to eat fast. The longer they sit ; they become less appetizing.

I enjoy sitting out on the patio. Just know if it's windy outside the umbrellas will topple over. Not really sturdy patio furniture. Also outside there is a play area...

My wife and I had a Saturday date night with great friends.. The evening, planned a month ago by the ladies, was spent breaking bread at Taco Nation in OKC's Wheeler District..

A new venue for all of us, Taco Nation delivered a wonderful variety of Mexican fare eats in an inviting and bustling atmosphere..

We sampled their appetizers, nachos, and several variations of their tacos 🌮..

Menu items sampled included the Tres Amigos and Chips & Queso appetizers, the Pollo Nachos, and the following taco variants: Ancho-Lime Chicken, Fish, Shrimp, Steak Chimichurri, Surf N' Turf, and Barbacoa.. I also sampled the pinto beans and a Paloma refreshing beverage..

All in all, each of us was wildly satisfied with our respective food choices.. Everything was delivered tableside fresh, presented quite nicely, and deelish!!
