Wheeler Park — Attraction in Oklahoma City

Nice park to walk and see the nearby Paul Brum Dam. It has playgrounds for young children, picnic benches and baseball diamonds. I especially like it because I can walk my dog, look at the cranes and ducks in and outside the water without big crowds. There are bicyclists who enjoy the trails near the park. I play softball several times a week. After a recent change in staff the ball fields aren't being cared for very well. No chalk on some nights. Nice paved trails along river with views of Ferris wheel across the river. We walked under the overpass, which has dirt/mud nests made by birds attached up under the overhangs.
