Daddy B's BBQ Okmulgee — Restaurant in Okmulgee

I’ve been here about 7 times and the service was always great and never had food messed up until tonight. Went here earlier tonight. We got the full ribs and on the menu it said you get 5-6 ribs for 14.99 and the half is 10.99 for 3-4. We paid the $4 extra dollars to get an extra rib cause we were hungry and their ribs are so good. Well we get home (got it to go) and we see there is only 4 ribs. So we call to let them know cause we were planning on making a trip back but we wanted to make sure we would actually be able to get it before we drove all the way back. Well the girl that answered seemed confused on what we were saying and finally got it and said “and” so we said “we paid for the full but got the half” and she responded “well we’re out of ribs” then instantly said in a passive aggressive tone “you can come get your one rib if you want it” emphasizing the fact it was 1 rib and she thought it was ridiculous. Like yeah it sounds ridiculous to call about 1 food item but that extra rib was $4 extra dollars and it was the perfect amount of food for us. We ended up deciding not to go back cause of the phone call. The whole phone call was unprofessional from the start. She definitely should not of been the one answering calls, in my opinion she handled it very poorly cause we were nice on the phone and just wanted to double check we were gonna get it if we came back. I want to personally give Daddy B's a shout-out. If you have not ate this delicious smoked meat before, you're missing out. In the world of true BBQ Smoked meat around here. DADDY Bs ìs on top! Most wonderful barbecue smoked meat we have ever had and this restaurant is a family-owned business. You can tell that they strive for greatness and their integrity and the measure they go to in order to show their appreciation to the customer is beyond what your normal restaurant can even come close to. We had a lunch, to go order, a little while back and some of the items thst we are use to, weren't the same. So I messaged them on facebook and explained to them my concerns. Hey we understand mistakes happen.. we mainly just wanted to make sure someone was aware of this. and of course they replaced our entire meal and were very kind. We have always been greeted with a big smile and we witnessed on more than one occasion workers doing what is right, washing hands and being so polite. -Oh and I just LOVE the new t-shirts that they were all wearing when I went in the other evening- "Serving Jesus and barbecue! Food what’s perfect! I had the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad. It was moist had them mild sauce I assume in the yellow container husband had the pulled beef. He said it was very good. When we through the door, we came with one other person then another person came in shortly after those two people were served right away. We were not. I kept looking around to see what the problem was the black girl at the counter who was drinking her drink looked at me like I was crazy. Finally, another girl came over to service said I don’t know what happened to your waitress, but I will take your order The other two people in the restaurant got served way before we did, but our food came out the black girl who kept giving me weird looks Brought our food over, set it down and mumbled something about things on the table??? We figured out the yellow bottle was mild sauce so FYI to anybody the yellow bottle is mild sauce. It’s a clean restaurant it’s good food. I don’t know what I did to the girl just don’t look directly in her face when you’re trying to put an order in! Might go back when I need a little...
