Ms Laura's Cakes — Restaurant in Okmulgee

Ms Laura does the absolute best cakes!!!! I have already purchased 2 amazing cakes from her and I’m currently ordering a 3rd (a 21st birthday cake for my daughter).

Not only do her cakes look incredible, but they taste just as amazing as they look! She has an incredible selection of flavors, and every one I have tasted has left me immensely happy and wanting more!

The first cake I ordered was for my daughters 16th birthday, and years later I am still wanting more! My daughter was in love with her cake. She almost didn’t even want to eat it, because it was so beautiful. She said it was like a piece of artwork and didn’t want to ruin it. She of course eventually ate it after taking tons of photos and saving a few pieces of it. It was definitely the best cake I’ve ever tasted!

The second cake was for my parents 50th anniversary. She did such an amazing job of recreating my parents original wedding cake just from a really poor quality photo. My parents absolutely loved it! It even brought my mom to tears of joy. It was definitely a huge hit at the party. I heard several people comment on how wonderful it tasted.

You definitely won’t be disappointed with anything you order from Ms Laura’s! My kids still talk about my daughters 16th...

I would personally recommend Ms. Laura's Cakes to everyone I know. Not only is she one of the nicest women I have ever met, but her cakes and treats look and taste AMAZING! As a wedding florist, I always look forward to seeing her on location! She is always on time, her cakes look perfect, she stays and helps "lost" family members, and is super kind to everyone around her. She probably wouldn't want me to say this, but...okay, she has spoiled me a few times by leaving behind a generous box of delicious treats to enjoy after a long day's work of setting up weddings around town. I mean, how generous can one person be? Nothing better on a wedding day than a delicious bite (or 6, who's counting) of cake! I enjoy her cookies, treats, cakes, and cupcakes so much that I often order from her for special occasions. She is affordable, talented, generous, and kind. What more would you need to know, really? You won't regret...

Revised review: As for our 2-tiered 25th wedding anniversary cake, better communication would have been nice. Baker needed to explain that client needed to provide the "25" topper. And it was not communicated to us that fresh flowers would not be provided for the cake (even though that was how the requested cake was presented in the image sent to the baker). The baker never stated she would substitute the fresh flowers (again- as pictured) on the requested cake design with flowers made from frosting. Some of the requested peach-colored frosting was orange. (No, the pictures didn't make the colors show up differently than seeing it in person.) The frosting was not a true buttercream as stated that it would be. And, the cakes were slightly dry. The 50th birthday cupcakes were beautiful, but again some of the requested peach-colored frosting was orange. The cake parts of the cupcakes were dry. We were...
