I will start by saying that I know that these things happen and I was not looking to make a scene about it. My husband and I went into grab something to eat and were seated in the back dining area. We each started with a slice of pizza, on which we sprinkled grated Parmesan cheese. Then, our meals came out and we were well into them when my husband pointed out to me that there was something crawling around inside the cheese shaker. When I looked, I was able to confirm that there was a baby cockroach inside the cheese shaker. When the waiter came back finally with my container to wrap up my half calzone that I did not eat, I told him that I no longer wanted to take it home and pointed out the roach. My husband was trying to show it to him, and he said he would find it himself and took it in the back. He never came back to our table, so we finally went up to the counter to get out of there. An older man at the register began ringing us up and made no mention of the cockroach. I then pointed out that he was saying nothing about the issue, and he told us that he had looked in the kitchen and found nothing in the cheese. My husband said to me that we should have photographed it, but I don't think the burden of proof is on us, the people who had to deal with a cockroach in the food we had just ingested. i've been told the man that he must be kidding and said that I would be placing reviews about this experience online. He told me to go right ahead. At that point, my husband said "let's just pay and get out of here." I told him not to pay and again told the guy I could not believe the way he handled the situation, and we left. We are now beside ourselves and sick to our stomachs over the fact that it's very possible that we ate cockroach eggs. Stay far away...
Read moreThis was my second time ordering from them. The first time it was actually a pretty awful pizza that tasted like cardboard, but I figured I would give it another try because it’s been several years. This time I just got a salami ham provolone sub with lettuce, tomato, onions, and oil and vinegar. I went with a friend and he got a similar sandwich without the salami and onions. When I got home, I took a bite and tasted the that the meat was spoiled. I immediately spit it out, then looked at the inside of the sandwich and was horrified. The ham and the salami were both a solid medium dark grey. Not just around the edges, but all the way through and on both sides. I was very happy that I didn’t swallow that bite. I called my friend to see if his sandwich was the same, and he said no his was fine. They must’ve put all the last part of the spoiled meat on my sandwich and gave him fresh. I called to let them know that my sandwich was spoiled, and the girl said that all we can do is give you a credit. I said I am bringing the sandwich back and I am getting a refund especially since I paid cash. She said fine. She had the money ready for me when I got there, and kept very quiet because she didn’t want anybody in the restaurant to hear the issue. I told her I wanted to show her the gray meat and she barely looked at it. She had told me over the phone that they had just sliced fresh meat in the back, and I told her that she better have them check the meat that they’re slicing because mine was completely gray. Spoiled gray meat makes people sick. Any restaurant who would put that on anybody’s sandwich is not a place where I wanna...
Read moreWanted to try the pizza for the first time. Called and spoke with Kim, she couldn’t answer simple questions about the size and pricing of pizza. I asked if large was 16 or 18 inch, she didn’t know, she had to ask someone else. I asked the price of the xl pie, she had to ask someone else. She was getting another call and put me on hold to answer and came back on. Normal. Then, I asked how much each additional topping was and she literally said “I don’t have time to tell you the prices, I’m trying, and I have someone on the other line.” I told her that was so rude and other customers won’t ask questions?! So damn rude. Maybe she’s new and doesn’t know but that’s so basic and for her to get frustrated answering 3 questions is ridiculous and she shouldn’t be answering the phone to take orders. If this is the first point of contact for customers new or old that’s a terrible...
