Beach Vibes Bistro — Restaurant in Old Orchard Beach

I am not typically one to share a poor review, but I wanted to share some honest feedback for the owner, knowing this is their first year. I first visited in April and had the BEST breakfast and this quickly became a place I raved about. I recently visited again and was saddened to see how much the quality of this place had dropped, assuming due to high volume of peak season in OOB. My first visit, I had an egg scramble with a muffin, potatoes, etc. This time, I had the same order, but it was clear this muffin was from a plastic wrap where the first one tastes homemade, and the eggs are now artificial/egg beaters/something of the sorts that was served as wet egg mush. Not to mention, plastic plates. I have never been served a $20+ meal on a flimsy plastic plate in my life, this was just odd. The potatoes are still fire. Very sweet staff. I wish the busy season did not have to compromise the quality of this place....

I don't leave reviews unless the restaurant was amazing or very disappointing. We waited almost 2 hours for the food to come out, and there was confusion as to who the food was for. When we finally got our food, it was disappointing to say the least. The only reason we ate all of the food was because of how hungry we were after the wait. The hollondaise sauce and raw peppers were the only thing that saved the vegetable eggs Benedict I got. The mushrooms were clearly straight out of a can, not heated at all. My fiancé got the "ooey gooey" French toast with bacon. The French toast was dry, and the bacon was definitely store baught pre-cooked bacon that was put in the microwave. The food was definitely not worth the price. The drinks we got were alright, but we will not be going back...

We ordered a blueberry drink, a bloody mary, a cheeseburger with fries and a Barnyard Burger with chips. My bloody mary was really good, so was the Barnyard burger. But the chips were phenomenal!
