Rumorz Bistro — Restaurant in Old Orchard Beach

This place is a disaster. For your hard earned dollar you find forgetful staff who can't remember what you ordered or if they brought it out and lousy food. They will ask how you like your steak done. This is just a conversation piece, don't expect any more from it, I'm guessing the 'chef' rolls a dice to determine how the steak is cooked which is way more fun for him/her. From my experience the dice were loaded with six's resulting in overcooked food.. You may find you have a choice of fillings on your sandwich, don't be surprised when your dreams don't come true. However, if for whatever reason you can't eat solids, why not ask for a Mac and cheese. It's basically soup. All drinks are served in a plastic glass to complement the awful food. I don't often write reviews but we came here for breakfast over the weekend and really loved it! The outside looked a bit run down so I was skeptical at first, but it's a very nice and comfortable atmosphere when you walk in. The service was quick and friendly. I got an omelette with gluten free toast and home fries. Honestly the food was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time!! They made a small mistake in my husband's order but quickly and kindly fixed it.

Mixed. Went twice as very close to hotel staying in. Food was really good, but service, prices mixed. 1st visit waitress very nice and attentive, and charged happy hour advertised prices. 2nd visit I felt ignored, never given happy hour shhet- had to ask about it.
