Elevate Cafe — Restaurant in Old Orchard Beach

I had a fabulous visit to Elevate Cafe. When the yoga studio isn't open, this is a very warm and inviting coffee, smoothie, and bakery space. The music was soft and pleasant, so it's great for folks who'd like to work remotely. There were many comfortable seating options and wifi available.

The owner, David, and the other worker behind the counter were very pleasant. They referred to every customer by name and put forth an effort to interact with them - a very difficult thing to do when working in a cafe with many responsibilities and a typical fast pace.

I ordered a honey-lavender (torani syrup + honey) latte and rosemary bagel. David explained that the bagels were baked in-house using a sourdough starter. It was absolutely delicious. They were also cutting up cinnamon rolls to bake while I was there.

They also had some local jewelry, candles, and art for sale.

The only thing I'd mention is that the menu to order from seemed a bit incomplete. Though they offered espresso-based drinks, it wasn't listed on the menu. Prices were also absent, so I didn't know what to expect.

Overall, this was a very lovely spot to have stopped in on. This business is run by a family who is very passionate about what they do,...

This is a cute spot, very chill vibe. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a bagel. The bagel looked like it was going to be amazing...it was soggy and chewy. The jalapeno cream cheese was not what I'm used to from other places. The jalapeno and cream cheese must be blended with garlic and it didn't taste like cream cheese as a result. If I knew garlic was involved i wouldn't have ordered this. The burrito was poorly executed. They don't scramble the eggs like one would expect, they are cut up fried eggs. The sausage takes like a frozen sausage from the box. The home fries were cut in very large pieces .... not great for a burrito and I was hopeful that the spinach would prove me wrong and be a nice addition. It was not. It tasted like paper that I wanted to pull out of my teeth. Ultimately I could not finish the burrito... was able to tolerate half and gave up on the rest. I've heard great things about this place....I was disappointed. I am a local and I don't plan on returning unfortunately. I love breakfast food and this just...

OMG!! Their cinnamon rolls will literally kill you they are so good!! You eat one and you have to have more!! There goes my health and my diet!! I literally cannot stop myself!! I'm beyond addicted to these!! I just hope Dave plans on covering my medical bills due to all my weight gain from these things!!!! I have given some to friends and workers and neighbors and now the cinnamon bun epidemic is spreading!! Who needs a COVID vaccination? I need a cinnamon bun vaccination over here thanks to these gooey sweet little babies!! The only thing to make these better would be home delivery!! Or at very minimum, delivery by the thousands rather than dozens!! Keep up the amazing work Dave!
