We went out to try some thing new set up a reservation with Resetters itailian dinning. Reservation were confirmed. On arrival the lights were all out. The restaurant was not even open but still received verification our booking a table for 01/12/2021 at 6:30 pm was received and excepted. In which sad but true it was not open for business. So we figured we would try Jimmy the Greeks. Even after reading reviews all saying it was pretty good to better then good at lunch time and food was terrific. A couple bad reviews exceptable. Although for dinner reviews no good reviews at all. But we were hungry and went on. Was in the area I ordered there steak tips and sad but very true the color of the tips was off to I was not encouraged on eating fast but right out of the kitchen I ordered medium the out side of the tips were warm but once I bit in to chew they were cold. The color of the inside was correct for medium tips. I felt that they were not freshly cooked the brown after on the grill wad a light tan just at first I thought I hope it’s not lamb ( I’m not a fan ) the color of tips really looked as if it was lamb but it was not thank god. The tips were cold in middle I’m not sure how that is unless a microwave is there cooking preference. I figure I can get steak easy to cook but I left behind at least 7 tips I was in not in any way delighted the mashed potato’s had to many onions in them. I wish I said had onions I am a picky eater no onions thankfully I use onion powder or sautéed them in a sauce till they dissolve into a liquid. Just flavor. The tips had no seasoning also white rice was more then likely two days old clumpy dry no flavor. With my wad the order of a cheese burger that no thumbs up at all. I never use to read and follow reviews. I guess I’m the fool what a waste of $66 dollars there price for a beer is the best thing going server was very pleasant sweet nice did her job well . When she asked if all was alright or we need anything else we stated no all is ok. Her eyes told me they do not get a lot of repeat customers. Except for the bar fully stocked bar but I was driving so I never have more then 2 buds last night was one leaving behind a quarter of a 16 ounce beer and I hate to waste food considering we have people around with nothing trying to make ends meet but it was what it was not really a meal I would have giving to my dog if I had one. As of now I have tried about 5 to 6 restaurants in the area a 20 mile radius. Sad the best one is IHOP unbeatable prices very friendly clean atmosphere fast service pretty good food when chicken is not over fried to the over down aspect but it’s a franchise with there how to do items. Please listen it will bring a lot more customers ihop I have been now 6 times always ask for a condiment and they never remember at least I to 2 items per visit is forgotten these times with the epedemic is time to strive not drag I guess my woman is a excellent cook she loves cooking and for the money wasted on restaurants I am only doing the places in maine here now but all in all the past year there has been good stops 3 excellent all perfect was 1 Andover Massachusetts . Sorry well I did not take pictures I should say...
Read moreWARNING!!!!Avoid this place! UNSAFE! BAD FOOD! DIRTY! UNTRAINED STAFF! BROKEN GAMES! Food is not good, and staff is untrained to deal with any sort of emergency with a customer. I visited there days ago and there was an incident where I was legit choking on my food and couldn’t breathe. My sister had to run around the table to do the Heimlich on me while everyone just stopped and stared. No one did anything!! Even the singer just stopped singing but then did nothing. THEN, 5 min later my throat closed up and I was choking AGAIN and she had to do it again to me! Only one server came over to talk to me see if I was ok etc. and check on the situation and then and then another staff member asked her “if they should call someone” …I legit could not breathe, and even after the second time, I could barely get a full breath in, or talk. My sister kept saying to them “if she’s having an allergic reaction, and her throat is closing, someone should be here!” So they finally had an ambulance come to the restaurant to check me out. It was incredibly scary, and my 3 and 7 year old nephews were next to me seeing the whole thing! They took me in an ambulance for awhile to check me out and while I was gone, not even ONCE did they check on my family to see if THEY needed anything or was ok, or if they could do anything for me after etc. Everyone could barely eat their meal because of everything happening, esp the poor kids, and obviously I had nothing to eat, and not only did they not ask if they could remake it or even pack it up, they charged us for the ENTIRE bill! As if that traumatic experience wasn’t enough, and no one could really eat, they actually charged us for the entire bill! It was only the second bite of a shrimp rice bowl that I choked on (which tasted bad to begin with)…we had legit JUST got our meals when it happened! We all left there hungry, and traumatized. To make matters worse they never even asked our names to follow up if I was ok after or anything!!! The most HORRIBLE customer service EVER, and the food was terrible esp for the price they were charging! ALSO, earlier in the night, half the games weren’t working either and we lost a bunch on those as well! I even asked 2 different staff members for help with it and they both didn’t know what to do, or even got anyone to help. Only thing I’ll say is that our server WAS very nice and when it came to originally taking our order or initial interaction, those were great. But, DO NOT GO...
Read moreUnfortunately, get ready for a lengthy review. Went in with a friend yesterday evening, and had probably the worst service I have ever experienced. No exaggeration. Staffing didn't seem to be an issue, but it was clear our server wanted really nothing to do with us. Courtney, our server, came over and didn't say hello, just shot right to what we wanted for drinks. When asked a couple questions, one being if there was a wifi password, she gave the biggest attitude for no reason. She had no knowledge about the menu, and didn't even try to sound halfway intelligent about it. Told us she was new, which is understandable, no problem, but her attitude was the worst. Rude, unprofessional and completely unimpressed. Every question asked was shot back with attitude.
Food came out, mine being on a warm plate, and my friend's being on a hot pizza tray. Courtney, told us the pizza plate was hot, but decided to set on the end of the table from my friend with no hot mit to pull it closer. At least set it in front of her if it's hot.. I'd give the food a 2, being that the pizza was under cooked and my gyro was pretty dry. I have been before, recently and it wasn't too bad, so I'd go again for the food, but I think I'll stick to the bar.
The worst part was when we got the tabs, I paid mine first. My friend paid hers with cash when Courtney came back to the table. In taking my friend's check book, she took the pen I had used, right out of my hand and walked away. When she came back, and we were about to leave, I told her that the next table she deals with she should be a bit friendlier; she shot back at me how her reason for acting that way was our fault, saying we were giving her attitude from the jump. We had not been, but once she started to really treat us poorly, we were not overly interactive with her. She proceeded to give me poor excuses for her attitude, that had no relation to what I had just said and walked off. Needless to say, between the two of us I think she got about a 4% tip, which being in the service industry, I know is an insult.
Courtney H, I hope you are fired. Some people don't belong in the...
