Due to health reasons, I ordered steak tips and requested them to be plain. No marinade or anything to be on them. They came out and they were cooked with peppers, onions and garlic was all over them. Which isn’t an issue. I ordered eggs over medium and they came out below sunny side up. Runny eggs, again…not a problem. Server asked if this was okay. All I had said was “ummmmm…(debating on saying something & decided not to) never mind it’s fine” so the server said okay and walked away out back. We heard her and the cook talking poorly as well as everyone in there could hear. Then the cook said (if he’s going to be ridiculous then I’ll just remake it) it’s the comment and the negativity that irks me…considering I didn’t complain. I didn’t say anything…..I’m a paying customer just like anyone else. If I made a request for something to be plain with nothing on it and you agree to it….and then I pay the amount requested. Then make the food to adjust to the request. If you can’t, I’d just go right next door to Main Street grill where they do every time and are always so friendly and the steak is cooked to perfection. I’d never leave a review as I don’t typically. But the comments and the way they talk about customers is disgusting. Go to Main...
Read moreGreat tasting comfort food, like a high-end fast food place where you can sit down. One of us had the BLT basket with fries and potato salad, the other had the chicken tender basket with onion rings and coleslaw. Coleslaw came a little later because it was being made up by hand, and it was delicious! Every item was high-quality, especially the fries which were homemade in-house from potatoes. My only complaint was that I didn't have enough room to finish everything, it was so good!
Dining room looked like it could be undergoing work, with plain concrete floors and no real dedicated space for workers to enjoy their lunch. All in all the atmosphere has a feeling of "work in progress," but not in an unsafe or "sketchy"...

We came to Nanny’s for the breakfast buffet, but it was a letdown. The buffet was not stocked, which is the worst situation at a buffet. We had to ask for basic items like bacon, eggs and sausage. These items should have been readily available. While we waited for the food to come out, the “cook” was loudly complaining in the back and everyone in the restaurant could hear him “I hate when people ask for things, they can’t see what I’m doing back here”. It made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Overall, we did not enjoy our visit and would not recommend this place to others. Spend the extra $1.00 and go...
