Subway — Restaurant in Olive Branch

A note to the manager: Your store lost 4 sales due to your lazy workers, however, with a rating of total of 2.5 stars out of 5, you obviously don’t care about the multitude of problems with your store. We stopped at the flying J, where this subway is located, on Saturday, December 18 at 8:55 am. We stopped here because I wanted Subway for breakfast. They had the entrance blocked with chairs with a sign saying it was closed. That was fine. I understand they don’t need people coming in bugging them while they are trying to prep to open for the day. It was 8:57 at this point, so I waited patiently until 9–still no sign of a worker. Around 9:05 I could hear people behind the counter. I went around the chairs to ask when they’d be open. The girl said, “We’re supposed to open at 9 but we’re counting food, so it’ll be 30 or 45 min.” Ummmm, aren’t you supposed to do that BEFORE time to open? I can only assume these 2 lazy ladies thought “open at 9” means get to work at 9, prep for the day, then open...

I went in to order the same sandwich as I had a week ago from this same subway. There was only this one guy working with one other customer in front of me. He attempted to start my sandwich as he was finishing the previous customers sandwich, but I was told they didn't have meatballs. So I took a few seconds to make another decision. I decided on the chicken bacon ranch. The sandwich was toasted, and it appeared the sandwich was made well, but once I got on the road as a truck driver, I took a bite out of the sandwich, and the freaking meat was cold. Honestly, if I had the time, I would have turned around and taken the entire sub back. I felt like he was rushing everything from the time I walked in, up to the time I left for no reason. It's bad enough that we pay more for everything in truck stop compared to other stores, but to get a cold sandwich that should have been warm to hot is ridiculous. I will definitely let him, management, or someone know about this on my next stop into...

This location in Flying J used to be great. In the last 6 mths it has changed. The staff are VERY RUDE! They are out of bread, several veggies. No onion, bell peppers, lettuce til next day. No cheese. Maybe shredded. I go today Sat at 830. They are closed. (Open at 7) The only girl there doesn't want to speak. I asked when do you open her response "all I know we ain't open now" I asked will they be open today I get a shoulder shrug. 🤨 I eat there at least 5 times a week. I wish whatever the change is it's fixed and it goes back to it was before. There is one/two good employees. The rest if I don't look like them they don't seem to want to serve/talk to me. I observe they talk to others great so that's where I get my determination. I hate to leave a bad review for any restaurant but today's rudeness was the last straw. I would hate for others who won't leave a review to be subjected to such...
