I’ve been wanting to try Baileys for some time now. Woke up early on Saturday morning and arrived at 7:45! No wait and was seated immediately upon arrival. Since we’ve never been we had to try multiple dishes between the two of us to form a solid opinion. We ordered the bacon because they claim it’s the best bacon in town. The crab Benedict since that’s what so many people rave about. The breakfast enchilada because, why not? My boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich that comes on an everything bagel. The sides that came with our dishes were hash browns and roasted potatoes. Coffee and mimosas were ordered as well. The excitement began once the early morning mimosas arrived with coffees and my anticipation was growing by the minute. Our food arrived and we plunged in. Me in to my Crab Benedict and him into his sandwich. I was highly disappointed in the weak and subtle flavors of the hollandaise and more so in the overcooked and definitely not fresh crab. That’s one dish I won’t need another bite of. I moved on to my bland hash browns and decided those were not for me as well. My boyfriend offered me a bite of his sandwich and my jealousy sank in. He always orders better than me and this day was no exception. I loved his bagel and should of known an everything bagel with cheese and bacon would of been great 🙄 Oh well. I’ll take a swig of my mimosa 🤷♀️ I like my mimosas with as little oj as possible and Baileys did not disappoint. The bacon was exactly as they claimed. Maybe not the best but definitely a contender imo. Finally the breakfast enchilada was calling my name. I cut a piece off and was NOT pleasantly surprised upon seeing a bunch of corn all over this thing. I do not like corn. I flipped the menu open on my phone to see if I missed anything that said “corn” and did not. I then realized it just might be the “black bean salsa” ingredients. Oops. Black bean salsa usually has corn...I ate my first bite sans corn and was starting to feel as though Baileys is extremely hyped up and not justified. Had my second bite and realized this is just not my breakfast place. The salsa verde they used was flavorful but the rest of it was bland and quite boring. The roasted potatoes were just that. Add a little salt and they are fine and the coffee was burnt and I couldn’t drink it. No worries, another mimosa please 😁 Also, I will now eat all the bacon. I am an adventurous eater and I like my food packed with flavor so please take that in mind when reading my review. If you are use to home cooked breakfast with little seasonings and no sprucing up, I think you will like...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting Bailey’s. We almost drove by it because it is in a strip mall that is located below the grade of the road, if you are heading north on 120th St. If it had not been for the Bronco’s restaurant sign, which is located in the same mall, we would have missed it. We got there around 7:30 on Friday morning and were greeted by a friendly waitress, who immediately showed us to our table. I was a little surprised, because a few of the reviews mentioned excessive wait times, but we saw no such problem while we were there. Maybe it is a weekend issue. Besides being friendly our waitress was very attentive, she checked in with us and her other customers, almost every time she passed by. They have a fairly comprehensive breakfast menu, so you should be able to find something that appeals to your taste.
I started of with a Bloody Mary, which I find is the best way to start breakfast, and it was good. The strip of thick cut bacon added a little something to it. I than had their Porkasaurus - All things pork: bacon, sausage patty and links, Canadian bacon, ham steak, plus Andouille sausage, all on a big bed of our red taters with Jack and Cheddar cheese and crowned with three scrambled eggs. It came with toast and a small order of biscuits and gravy. I think this was a meal designed to be fed to Husker lineman, not a normal human. (In fact, by adding eggs to the left overs, I got 4 more breakfasts out of this meal.) The gravy over the biscuit was average, too mild for my taste, but everything else was delicious. They claim to have “the best bacon in town” and they might have it, at least it is the best I’ve had. Lois had French Toast, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon. She asked for crisp bacon and she got it exactly the way she wanted it. Her French Toast was cooked perfectly and covered with just the right amount of powdered sugar.
They have a guest WIFI with a password and a strong signal, which is always a plus. We will be returning for breakfast and I noticed that they have a Reuben on the menu, so I’ll be going...
Read moreAs long-time club members and loyal patrons of Baileys, we’ve always appreciated the consistently delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. I’ve often recommended this spot to friends and family, especially for the quality of the breakfast — it truly stands out.
Unfortunately, our recent visit left us feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Despite understanding that the restaurant was busy, we waited 20 minutes just to have our drink orders taken, and over 35 minutes for our breakfast to arrive. In total, we were at the restaurant for well over an hour, which is far from our usual experience.
What truly impacted our visit, however, was the interaction with the manager on duty. When we calmly brought up our concerns, her response was dismissive and laced with attitude. Her comment — comparing Baileys to a fast-food chain — felt unprofessional and unnecessary. We know Baileys isn’t McDonald’s — that’s exactly why we choose to dine here. But that interaction made us feel as though our presence and loyalty were not valued.
It’s disheartening to feel unwelcome at a place we’ve come to enjoy and support. While the food remains excellent, the manager’s demeanor has led us to reconsider our membership and whether we’ll continue to dine at this location.
We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as we truly want to see Baileys continue to thrive — with hospitality that matches the quality...
