Biaggi's may seem crowded, loud and a slew of other things, but they've done some things right. However loud the environment was walking in, and perhaps waiting to be seated for our reservation, you will notice a difference the moment you are seated. The brilliance of this restaurant is not just in the menu or the fantastic food, but the amazing design.
We were seated in a booth, which was divided by a solid, 7-to-8 foot wall to one side. Why am I bothering to tell you this as a reviewer? Because, for once in a crowded(nay, packed!) restaurant, I could hear my partner in crime. Yes, we had a conversation. And no, we weren't yelling over the other noisome families or couples. We were having a conversation facing each other and we didn't have to strain to repeat ourselves or pull out a phone to text back and forth with each other. This simple design choice is a grand one in my mind, and likewise, every table had a single wall to one side to facilitate conversation. This made for a more personal dinner experience than I expected.
The service was easily a 5/5 Our waiter--bless his soul--had a rough time filling my drink request: an orange Italian soda. He went back and forth, and another waitress swept by to deliver a lemonade instead (my second choice). However, he returned to apologize stating the drink was on its way. Sadly, when the Orange Italian Soda arrived, it tasted of nothing but maraschino cherries, blended in with Italian Soda. My partner tasted and confirmed there was no Orange to it at all. I didn't make a fuss since the waiter did bring my second drink (even if by accident), so I had another option readily available.
Appetizer 5/5 Warm house bread was provided for us with an olive and parmesan dip made at the table. This was pleasant as we waited.
The appetizer we chose was Bacon Wrapped Dates. These were fatty, but sweet, and utterly addicting. The sweetness of cooked dates paired with the saltiness of bacon was a combination I could forever eat, and possibly eat for a full meal (even if that'll give me a heart attack)!
Entrees 5/5 We ordered a Shrimp & Crab Cannelloni as well as a Lobster Fettuccini. Both were rich and creamy, although we both agreed the Lobster Fettuccini was perhaps the better of the two. The shrimp in the Cannelloni was slightly overcooked, with a rubbery texture that comes with it. The sauce of the Crab Cannelloni was not as flavorful as the Lobster, but both went well with the bread provided.
Verdict 5/5 If the praise leading up to this point was not enough of a hint, yes, we will visit again. The facilitated atmosphere, the service and the food warrants a second, or even a third visit. Keep in mind that a reservation is a must, as is...

TLDR: Easily made reservations for two online so that's nice. We arrived a little early and had to wait a few minutes for a table, which is fine. Our waitress was nice enough and explained some things. It was just two of us. When the order came out, one plate was right and the other wrong. They took it back to the kitchen, and I just presumed someone grabbed the wrong plate (someone else delivered the food; not the person who took our order). However, based on how long it took, someone messed up and had to make again. On the upside, my meal was hot, but on the downside, my guest was done with their supper.
The white wine sauce on the piccata was not reduced at all so it looked as if the wine was poured on at the last minute, which made the breading of the chicken an unappetizing goo. The other plate was good according to my guest.
While we were waiting for the waitress to run my card (there was no offer for a discount, drink, dessert, etc. for my messed up order), another waiter came by with a plate of appetizers, which were not ours.
My main issue was later after we left, and my guest realized they had left their bank card on the table. I called and spoke to the hostess. She sounded a bit put out that I asked her to check with the waitress. When she came back to the phone, she said that their suggestion was to call back the next day. We live 100 miles away so mailing it was unlikely. And she didn't even ask for a name or number in case it turned up. We drove back to the restaurant to double-check ourselves. No one had sat at the table since we had left, but it had been cleaned off and reset. We are guessing that because the bank card is local, someone probably assumed it was a gift card and it went into the trash. I had to ask the hostess if I could leave my name and number, so she reluctantly got out a post-it note. I'm sure it went straight into the trash after we left as she didn't even write on the note what its purpose was.
Would I go back? In a pinch, sure, but not because I was wowed by the food or service. The hostess could work on her customer service skills and at least pretend...

My family and I were very disappointed with Biaggis this weekend. We visit Biaggis every time we come to town and called early in the day to reserve a table against the back wall for a group of 8, as we normally do. When we arrived at 5:30 pm, the front desk could not find our reservation, even after we told the front desk gal the name of who took the reservation. She said all the tables we usually sit in had been reserved by other people so she could not move them. We asked to speak to the manager who was behind the bar and he couldn't help at all. All he said was 'we can make a table for you in the middle'. No apology, nothing. It was not our fault their staff made a mistake. After reluctantly sitting down with our group, my wife asked three different staff members, including the waiter, for a gluten free menu three different times to which she was ignored. Finally we had to walk to the front and grab our own menu which is appalling!!
We had to wait for food which took much longer then normal (at a slower part of the night) and over ten minutes just to have our waiter bring the check back from processing so we could sign and leave. The food was for the most part was ok. The gluten free bread was so oily (which is not the norm) it made my wifes stomach hurt all night and the sauce oddly tasted like metal, so much so that our kids couldn't eat the pasta.
For a restaurant which normally has good service we were shocked with the disregard from every member of staff we encountered that night from the front desk, rushed waiter taking orders, servers who bring out food, and the passive/non caring manager. Biaggis must have had staff turnover recently with the service tonight since we were not the only people upset. Our note to the managers/owners is to start re training or re hire more competent, sympathetic staff at this location to maintain your customer base and quality. The level of UN-professionalism Friday night, cattiness towards concern from guests, and snickering among staff about guests will cause this location to loose loyal customers, as it just did...
