Hardy Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Omaha

This place is fantastic. I'm so happy Omaha has local roasters and bakeries like this still around. Here's my story. They had a specialty box promoted for a S'mores kit with homemade marshmallows, locally made chocolate and fresh baked graham crackers. I also wanted a jar of cold brew coffee concentrate. When I reached out, they said they did offer delivery for a small fee. I figured it would be fun to make a morning of it and decided to drive with my wife from Papillion to the highlander location. It wasn't that bad of a drive as it was mostly highway.

When we got there, we were hungry. I ordered the breakfast burrito and the wife ordered the cinnamon roll. We also ordered drinks. I ordered a regular iced Chai and the wife ordered a root beer chai. She was a little apprehensive at first but it turned out to be absolutely amazing. It was so good she didn't really want to share. We took out breakfast and sat on the patio watching the rain clouds roll in. Once we were done with our breakfast, we ordered another rootbeer chai, a brewed hot coffee, a bag of whole beans to go, a jug of Chai concentrate, and to top it off, a sugar cookie decorating kit for the kids to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

TLDR; the delivery fee would have been cheaper on my wallet, but I'm so glad I didn't opt for that and got to experience so much more of this wonderful coffee shop. 10/10 I...

Cannot convey how thrilling it is to find any coffeeshop with a housemade, vegan, ACTUAL-pumpkin sauce for a seasonal latte! And it is so good, as a latte but especially with cold brew (since I don't like heavily sweet drinks)-- they offset each other well, bitter roastiness to spicy sweetness without extra sugar or milk/mylk.

To that end, their seasonality is always on point. They offer great coffee, great tea, great takes on local ingredients and seasonal flavors, and they give at least a small nod to dietary restricted pastry lovers. Could do with more of this offerings, for my own selfish reasons, but what they do focus on is great and their selection of take-home beans and teas (varying by location) is wide and diverse.

This is my absolute favorite place to do all of the above and so much more. From homework, to creative writing, reading, chatting, or just enjoy the space this is my favorite place to simply just exist and enjoy that great java!
