Hy-Vee Market Grille — Restaurant in Omaha

Katie is the greatest employee in the market grille my kids love her too . If she's not a manager or full time she needs to be. She should be taken care of by you guys because she's an asset. I've been going there since the beginning of the year and all I see her so is work. She knows customers by name and takes a moment to really feel like you matter. I remember one time I was so beyond depressed I didn't even know what my life was even for anymore and just the hello how you doing and checking in really just saved me. Thank you Katie I hope your boss gives you this review and my kids love your lady keep killing it. All you eat wings but the service was extremly slow from beginning to end! Waited over 20 min for 2nd serving. We had to ask for our check several times and no one came back to get it so we left to pay at the register right outside the door and were told to pay at the bar. Bartender asked how everything was I expressed we were disatisfied and he walked away! THIS IS DEF A GROCERY RESTAURANT...THEY JUST DRESSED IT UP! POOR SERVICE...TABLES DIRTY AND STAFF SEEMED UNAWARE OF ANY TYPE OF...

Go here a few times per year, often dining in because a good spot for breakfast with kids; food is usually pretty okay. Unfortunately, the wait times have gotten unreal, to the point that I can’t justify coming here anymore. Waited 45 minutes at a not busy time for a takeout order of biscuits and gravy some sausage links. Could go to a fancier sit down restaurant and get faster service.
