Top 10% Omaha Reviewer. Follow me on here or Instagram @markthisplacedown for more reviews. WHAT I ORDERED Chicken n’ Waffles (add McNashville Style) + Mimosa. I got the Chicken n’ Waffles which comes with two chicken strips on buttermilk waffles served with home fries. I made it “McNashville style” which adds hot honey to the meal. It was really delicious. Both the chicken and home fries were super crispy and the waffles were nice and moist. For those of you who like a little extra flavor/kick the McNashville style is the way to go. MENU The brunch menu is a brand new addition and served ALL-DAY on the weekends. This menu is pretty big with some nice choices along with some Irish-inspired items. Their regular menu is large as well with your typical bar classics along with Irish foods. They have daily food specials and for you mimosa lovers - Sundays have BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS! VISITING CONDITIONS I came here around 11:30am on Super Bowl Sunday and as expected it was fairly busy. I sat by the bar and was attended almost immediately. I got my food within 10mins which was really impressive considering the packed establishment. ESTABLISHMENT Paddy McGown’s has a large room with lots of seating along with tons of TVs. There’s also a smaller room where the bar is located in that has a decent amount of seats as well including bar seating + TVs. If you are interested in hosting a private party there’s also a large room in the basement. The decor is Irish and Fire Station-inspired. STAFF The staff here is always really nice and helpful. I especially like this place because the owner - Dan is often here to chat with the guests and he really takes the time to remember his regulars. PRICING The drinks here can range between $2-10 depending on what you’re getting. The food is usually around $6-12. They have attractive daily food and drink specials that knocks the pricing down even more. LOCATION 4503 Center St Omaha, NE 68106 If you like a friendly neighborhood Irish bar with tons of TVs you can definitely MARK THIS PLACE DOWN as a must try!

I'm so iffy with this review! The first time I went the service was awful and the food was amazing. This second visit, the service was a tad better and the food was NOT Amazing. So I guess I'm going with a 4 but I'd rather a 3.5. The first time I loved the Irish nachos and have been raving to my kids about them. So so good! My burger was juicy and the fries dipped in the homemade ranch was such a pleasure. I took my kids last week and we started with the Irish nachos, duh. The homemade chips arrived soggy and well...not something I want to order again. My daughter wanted to try the Reubens egg rolls and so we got those as well. Not sure the rave reviews on those, I had one bite and was done. My burger arrived and I was ready for bliss but all I got was a bite in to a very dry and medicore burger. What? I just went 2 months ago, what happened? The fries in the homemade ranch though, still did not disappoint. I don't know if it's homemade or not and I don't care. It's lovely. The service was better with one bartender/server on a Thursday at lunch then it was on a Sunday at 2 p.m. with 4 of them behind the bar. It takes awhile to be acknowledged here, but you are more welcome on a Thursday then a Sunday. Not much though. Not sure how I feel about it and if I want to come back. Service isn't great and obviously there's a complete lack of consistency. I stick with (3.5) 4 stars due to my first visit but it's based entirely off food and not the service.

I ordered their Veggie burger which looked interesting but was told they were out 😕. No worries, got a Grilled cheese instead. It was good. Upgraded my side to the homemade Onion Rings. Those were very yummy although a tad greasy. My husband started with the Ham and Bean soup and totally loved it! I think it's a Friday special. He was relatively unimpressed when I showed him pics of their Reuben but he thought it was Amazing!!! Loved the Corned beef and Thousand Island which are both done in house. He would not shut up about the Rotellas Grilled rye bread... sooo buttery! He said it was a tie for first place! Fries were also good and seasoned well. Food took quite awhile to come out. They were slammed and appeared to have a ton of to-go orders as well. My husband said he'd wait twice as long for a Reuben that good. Servers were running their tails off the entire time. I'd be betraying my Irish heritage had I not finished with a pint of Guinness. ☘️💚☘️💚☘️

Walked in sat down and my daughter who was with me filled out some keno numbers to play it took them over 15 minutes to acknowledge that she wanted to play Keno Anyway even after that we wherent offed if we needed a drink or a menue. The ladies working their just kept asking the people who where already there and had food and drinks if they would need a refill or how there food was. Finally after 20 minutes the one waitress took our drink order and I had to ask for a menue then my daughter and I looked at the menu and finally got a order in my daughter asked only for a side salad with ranch dressing and I ordered the apatizer with corn and jalapeno poppers stuffed in a batter and I also ordered children strips with honey mustard dipping sauce and for the jalopeino.corn cheesey stuffed poppers to have ranch dressing for dipping sauce. It was brought out and no silverware to eat anything was offered. Or any extra dipping sauce or dressing trying to get a person's attention was.like pulling teeth. And when we did get there attention they had a attitude and just kept saying I'll get to you when I get finished with the other people who are just needing a refill on a beer that's not even empty. Or because Maybe they come more often. Non the less I live at the Latest Seville apartment complex and I have never been to the astabushment and I wouldn't recommend any of my friends or family to go to your bar and grill I had to retrieve my own silverware and didn't even get asked if I would like...
