Back in the 80s and 90s my family and I used to love going to eat at taco John’s! Taco John’s had a very iconic, unique flavor to their food! They had a classic flavor in their meat and in their shells that just made you want to come back for more! We then ended up moving from Omaha Nebraska to Georgia where there of course is no taco John’s and many years went by and we always looked for the eating at taco John’s when we went back to visit. Fast forward now many years to 2000 and now 2022. I moved back to Omaha temporarily and was so excited to go back and get that wonderful flavor in my mouth again and I sat down and literally spit my food out in a napkin! I thought something was wrong with the food. I took another bite of the burrito spit it back out. Took a bite of the taco. Same thing! I absolutely was floored that they had literally transform their entire food product to some industrialized flavor of yuck, much like you taste when you eat at Taco Bell, yuck! I was extremely and still am extremely disappointed that taco John’s changed their flavor the way that they did they took away an iconic flavor that made their customers want more and more to wear now I don’t eat there anymore! He wants loved restaurant is now only a wonderful memory that I occasionally savor as I think about it driving down the road! Who are these people that show up and ruin such good things in life! Del taco had a similar situation with the flavors that they had they also changed however Taco John’s was always supreme until they ruined it forever! Wow would it be a treat for them to go back to the good all days and re-implement the same menu the same ingredients they used to make...
Read moreBeen to this location a few times since I moved to this part of town... Had a larger order and was missing 2 items... It is still a drive to get there. About 10 minutes each way... When I arrived back to the location, there was no apology for having forgotten my food and having to take extra time out of my day for forgetting part of my order that I payed for.. Just the bag sticking out of the window for me to grab as I was the BIGGEST inconvenience... I'm not one to leave reviews or to complain but this location has forgotten something each time I've been there. And never an apology for it or over compensating for my inconvenience... This is where the company at whole is going wrong... Take care of the people who pay your salaries or else you will suffer the consequences in the long run... I'll continue to go to business who own up to their mistakes and value my business... I'm interested to see how this company will fair in the future.. Probably won't receive a response... Don't ask me to go online either, cause that has also shown ineffective and doesn't solve issues. It's sad to see the place I used to frequent for Taco Tuesdays and Taco Bravo Thursdays go down hill. Only the strongest...

I stopped by this Taco John’s at 8:45 PM after work and had one of the worst fast-food experiences ever. The drive-thru worker, Elizabeth M. (check #5131), had a major attitude from the moment she took my order.
I clearly ordered a #5 with crispy chicken, but she gave me beef tacos instead. Then, my Potato Olés were dripping with grease—like they’d been dumped back in the fryer. I asked for a large lemonade, but she gave me a Pepsi. At this point, it felt intentional.
If Elizabeth doesn’t want to do her job properly, she shouldn’t be working drive-thru. The lack of care and disrespect was unbelievable. Management needs to reprimand her—this isn’t how customers should be treated.
I won’t be back unless things change. Save your money and go...
