The Sol Azteca location has gone through several different styles under what I assume various owners and operators. The restaurant now has a modern, clean, simple look and I found the food very tasty and appealing. I was surprised when I ordered two tacos and when served they had a heaping amount of meat - but - came with a couple of other small bowls which contained what would come on a taco - giving me the choice of what I wanted to add and how much. This was rather unique I thought but it was all fresh and tasty. I would certainly recommend Sol Azteca for their food, service and atmosphere. If you check out my photos you can see how they were served which I thought was great as I could add the amount of extras I wanted.

I’m gonna say it…best restaurant in Blount County. AUTHENTIC delicious Mexican food. Real home cooked meals prepared fresh. Get their daily aguas frescas(fresh water drinks). The soups are also so tasty. Learn how to add what the toppings(onion, cilantro, line, spicy sauces, oregano). Step outside of your comfort zone, be worldly, travel Mexico by enjoying this food in Oneonta, and please even try a tongue taco. So tender!
