El Chilito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

The heavyset woman who knows English is sarcastic. The young Hispanic girl at the cashier doesn’t know English. I went there today and asked for a large soda and wanted to see how large the cup was and the heavyset woman took over the conversation and when I asked to see how large the soda cups were she said 32 ounces and I said, can I see the cup? she sarcastically said you don’t know what 32 ounces is? That’s not the point. I said 32 ounce sodas come in different cups, so it was clear she just wanted to be sarcastic with me. Then I asked that the sour cream be put on the side and it was poured all over the taquitos that I ordered. I also asked for one Al Pastor taco and she was trying to confuse me and said do you want one Al Pastor taco or do you want one Al Pastor taco plate and I said one Al Pastor taco and she said single? And I said yes so I didn’t get why She was the one that didn’t understand one taco, I never said plate but it felt like she was trying to get me to say plate. Then they scimped on the rice and beans, napkins and when I asked for extra napkins, she said, didn’t they put any in there?!, I said a few, but can I have a few more? She gave them to me I also asked her for an extra green chili and an extra red chili cuz I was sharing my taquito plate with my husband and they gave them to me but then she says anything else ma’am?! In a sarcastic way, so I will never be going back there again , and then they let me leave without my soda. I had to drive back to get the soda that to me was more expensive than any other taco hole in the wall place I’ve ever been to so again I will not be returning to El Chilito. P.s. the little salsa containers had air in them showing they were spoiled. After I ate their not so good food, I got the runs. The food isn’t even hot when they give it to you and they take forever to...

This is the worse place to go eat! Don’t waist your money and time going here! We ordered ceviche and they gave us nothing but discolored tomato with onion and couldn’t even find any ceviche. Berly even had any! Also I ordered chilaquiles and I got the smallest portion ever the rice had no color. Nothing tasted good! Place is dirty! People’s face masks were on the floor . Trash everywhere . There was no trash can for the customers! My son had to use the restroom and we had to wash our hands and the cashier said we can’t use it! They had the toy machines so my kids wanted a quarter, my husband asked the cashier if she can exchange a $1 for quarters she said no she can’t do that! I It was hot as hell in there ! No AC on they had a fan on a counter and asked if she can turn it on she said she would go out there to turn it on for me! Never did she step outside to turn it on! She gave my husband attitude the whole time he ordered our food! We asked for our refund and gave us a hard time . We spoke to the manager on phone and finally gave us our refund! Another customer took her family to eat and as she was eating she told us there food is trash and complained too and walked out! No wonder they took down their inspection grade letter! It wasn’t on there window or door. Horrible customer service!!! Food and everything In that place! Never again!! They need new management or shut them down!!...

ONLY HAD THEIR MENUDO..I have no idea how anything else is....BUT I'll tell you this right off the bat, their red salsa in their squeeze bottle is awsome freaking hot and really good...This was my taste and outcome 1 out of 10

BE AWARE if they offer pata/feet is 2.00 or 2.50 extra If they offer corn tortillas, like they did to me..it was 2.00 extra for hand made, which I dont agree of it, but.

Value plain 12.00 that's a #10 Size that's a #10 for the price Taste was a miss for me #5 Meat portion was good #10 Grano/hammony very little #7 Meat size was perfect #10 Condiments was perfect #10 I got onions,cilantro. Menudo mix species were in a shaker oregano,chile flakes, all mix together...over all experience..not to my like...I did't not see the reviews till after ordering...I honestly feal is worth a one item try...but not for a whole family for the first time....this is how I choose where to take my family too...I try it first.
