Torys Bakehouse — Restaurant in Orange City

Gotta say I'm pretty disappointed. I have a hard time getting here cause they're always closed before I'm out that way. The hours are a little harsh for someone like me who works later hours in the day. So I was finally able to get over an now all of a sudden I have to buy 4 donuts. It's kinda crazy. I can understand maybe a 2 donut minimum but 4? That's like 20+ dollars for a simple donut fix. I'm a single person who doesn't need 4 huge sugary donuts that I'll scarf down being a sugar addict. So I passed. I'm really disappointed. 4 donuts is just unrealistic unless you have a family. But clearly they're willing to loose some business to make a certain quota. I entered the shop on National Donut Day to redeem the advertised offer the company posted on Facebook “Free S’morio with purchase”. The offer stated nothing about a minimum purchase requirement. The lady asked me to wait while she prepared the order ahead of me - resulting in a 10 minute wait. When I ordered, she told me the donut was not free unless I purchased 6 donuts. I showed her the advertisement they posted on Facebook and told her they needed to update their offer as it is misleading and false advertisement but she didn’t seem to care nor did she honor the offer. Fantastic donut shop! It IS a small donut shop and everything IS made to order! We are food snobs and expect the best from specialty shops and restaurants. Torys does not disappoint! It is pricey, and if you are looking for something quick and cheap, this is NOT the place for you. That being said, if you are looking for something made fresh, artistic, and memorable, this is the place. If they were located in WP, Windermere, or any of the "parks" for that matter, you'd have to wait in line for an hour! Keep the passion and great work going Tory's and never judge a book...
