It is Fri April 3rd 2:55pm...White Castle, Orange NJ Central Avenue... whoever the cashier is at the window right now, she needs to go. She is not nice at all. No need for her to be dealing with customers at the window. Very short with you, customer service is lacking. Retrain this girl please, or show her the door.
UPDATE:
This location has seriously improved, I haven’t experienced the attitude I dealt with before. Even more impressive? The management is top-notch. They clearly took customer feedback seriously. I’m not sure what happened to the cashier from my original review (and I won’t dwell on it), but I haven’t had a single issue since.
The managers running this spot now are familiar, friendly, and consistent. They’ve been there a while, and it shows. You can tell they care—and it makes a difference.
I love that the food is always fresh. Sure, the line can be a little slow sometimes, but that’s because they’re making it to order, not handing out old food. That matters to me, so I just sit tight and appreciate the quality.

TOTALLY HORRIBLE SERVICE..TELLING US AFTER WAITING 20 MINUTES FOR AN ORDER PLACED ONLINE TO BE READY AT 1:44AM,THAT THEY HAVE BEEN BACKED UP SINCE 7PM. THEN EVERYTHING TASTED HORRIBLE! OBVIOUSLY WE HAD A CRAVE THAT DIDN'T GET FULFILLED!! WHITE CASTLE' MANAGEMENT NEEDS HIRE SEPARATE TEAMS FOR DELIVERY AND ONLINE ORDERS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T KEEP UP WITH WALK IN AND DRIVE THRU ORDERS. IT'S JUST TO MUCH AT LEAST HIRE EXTRAS FOR THE WEEKEND! IT WAS SO BAD I PURPOSELY ASKED FOR MY RECEIPT TO TAKE THE SURVEY!!!! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH LEVEL OF CHAOS AND WHEN WE ARRIVED FOR PICK UP ORDER AT 1:44AM AFTER WAITING 20 MINUTES OUR ORDER WAS NOT STARTED NOR HAD ANYONE CHECKED THE ONLINE ORDERS. I live in south jersey now and happened to be up north so we stopped at this place as it reminded me of my childhood. The food was fine but the place was very dirty. There was food all over the place of the floor, the tables were dirty, there was a guy sleeping face down on a table in the corner the entire time we ate and there was a guy who didn't seem to be eating asking the people behind the counter to trade him a cup of coffee for his services in cleaning up the floor and wiping down the tables....now I cannot say this is a usually occurance as I have never been there before and maybe it was just an off day. But you only get one chance at a first impression and it was not a good one. I will not be stopping by this particular White Castle again. If I happen to be up north again (and I am sure I will as I still have family up north) I will drive a little further to a different...
