Southern Komfort Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Orange

The food was better than the cook and servers. The music was good. The bar tender had her favorites. The cook was rude disorganized nasty looking. No hair net long and artificial nails. The server was immature and very unprofessional. We had a horrible experience. The server over charged us. My sister didn't receive her order but we were charged for two meals never received. It was 5 of us but 2 separate receipts which should have been 3. Charged for gratuity for all 5 of us on both receipts. Called security when we told the cook we were ready to leave bcuz we no longer wanted to wait for another entree to be made. Two of our party received their food and left. Their order was wrong. Three of us remained to eat there and only 2 of us received our food. The server kept ignoring us and when she returned we were almost finished then she told my sister there were no more chicken left to order something else. By the time she put the order in we were completely done. We told her nevermind we were leaving. The cook came out yelling about how she had to cook the whole meal over but we tried to explain that that was not our fault the server told us too late after we sat there for over a hour waiting. Did I mention our food was cold when we got it? We didn't make a fuss or asked to be reheated. The plate it was on was hotter than the food. We had to request the manager to have the gratuity and the 2 extra meals removed. The service and treatment made...

Absolute worst place I've tried in a long time. When we walked in we were barely acknowledged, there were only 2 patrons at the bar, should've headed that warning. The first server could not be bothered besides calling her relief to figure out where they were. Took for ever to come take orders then informed us the bartender wasn't there but didn't even offer soft drinks. Food was disgusting! Frozen collard greens without any attempt to season them up, mac and cheese old dry rewarmed, yams were like a mash, cornbread rock hard microwave reheated, wings looked like kidnapped baby chick's with 1.5 bites worth of meat, shrimp way too salty inedible. Bartender sitting at bar drinking from a 2 litter bottle, flipping through TV. No music playing. I mean come on?! The only saving grace was our 2nd waiter super nice and congenial gentleman. If the food was at least decent he alone would have saved the place. Note to establish you never know who you are entertaining, if they're scouting for an event...

Parking was on the street; but I had got my brother parking space in front. It was my sister; sister in law Birthday. We had called in for reservations a party of 8. They wasn’t ready for use 20 minutes waiting to be seated. The music was popping and kept use dancing. They wanted us to order drinks 1st. I didn’t come for drinks; I wanted food. They didn’t have a drink menu or the prices for the drinks. I think they want you to order drinks bc they didn’t wanted you to be in a bad mood when your food came 45 minutes later. The waitress was nice but they was eating more then the guest.The food was cool the potatoes salad had 1 cups of sugar. The fried whiting fish was small, the greens had no seasoning, or tease, the macaroni and cheese was boxed, no tartar sauce they had our orders messed up. My sister said it was trouble & never again. You wanted the drinks to keep coming to calm your nerves. Black business we need to do better ....
