Worst experience by far. My husband and I have been coming here to eat for some years now. Sometimes late at night and sometimes during lunch or breakfast. Anyway, we came in this morning and nobody attended to us until I said something. I’m guessing one of the managers, a fair skinned female with a double chin, wearing a grey shirt and a bun going back with a cap on came up to us asked if we knew what we wanted like she was rushing. She didn’t ask if what we wanted something to drink for starters like a food service person is supposed to. We told her we wanted orange juice and also ordered our food at the same time. I already heard them saying they were out of orange juice, so as she was coming towards us, I let her know that we’ll both have sweet tea. She brings our sweet tea and throws the straws on the table. I don’t know why, because we weren’t rude to her at all. I never sipped it while talking with my husband, so my husband goes to sip it and says it’s not sweet. I taste mine and it’s not sweet either. I said loudly enough but not as a disturbance, that our tea isn’t sweet. She comes and takes the drinks with an attitude, pours them out and when she returns with the actual sweet tea, I politely ask her if she can place the straws down on the table instead of throwing them like she did the first time. She placed them down, rolled her eyes and walked away. My blood boiled by then. We sat there patiently waiting for a simple All Star breakfast and patty melt plate, while other patrons walked in way after us. A group of females were seen as soon as they were seated and then a group of young men. The men were asked what they wanted to drink, their drinks came and straws were PLACED IN EACH OF THEIR HANDS!!!! When I said something about it, the female security guard took it as if I was about to get rowdy, which I was not. I simply stated to the young lady who was also waiting as long as we were how customer service should be and she agreed. The female officer went outside to call in the male security guard 🙄🙄🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. I’m not a rowdy person but when working in customer service you are supposed to treat EVERYONE with respect. Instead of waiting, my husband and I walked out and came home. The female officer I guess assumed we were intoxicated and tried to be funny as we were walking out and said “Drive home safe” as if we weren’t. We have NEVER experienced that type of service there any other time until tonight. Luckily there is another more professional Waffle House...
Read moreWe went there late this past Christmas night as we were traveling north. We have been to other Waffle Houses where we live and have been happy with the service, but our experience in this one was extremely awful. I very rarely write any reviews, but our family's experience was so awful that I needed to write this review. The only employees that seemed to be working were the two cooks that were there that seemed overwhelmed, even though the place wasn't packed. The rest of the staff, including managerial staff, were gathered around the cooks talking, laughing, being on their phones and not doing much of anything while everyone was waiting for their orders including several people that had been waiting for over an hour for their take home orders. It was chaotic. We waited over an hour for ours, it came out wrong, the waitress argued with us saying that she served us what we ordered. We had to wait again for our order to come out and when it did she gave us the check to pay. It had somebody else's payment receipt stapled to it, so I didn't know if that was indeed our ticket or not. When I pointed that to our waitress she just tore the stapled payment receipt and said it was an accident. In total we spent almost an hour and a half for really really bad service. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. I really hope that someone from this Waffle House reads this and takes action to improve their costumers' experience. It's...
Read moreAfter living in and around Atlanta since 1992, it finally happened. Waffle House failed and when they do it’s pretty huge. My wife and I walk in at 9:05ish and we were greeted by a young lady who tells us we can sit any where. So we do just that.. she comes over again very nice manners and doing a great job. She takes our drink order and takes off. We are sitting enjoying our time together and she brings our drinks. She takes our order and all this takes about 5 to 7 minutes. We are noticing that the cook seems very irritated about something because of the way he’s cooking and throwing stuff around just not standard. Again, we are from Atlanta and we do WH way way too much. The cook is on his cell phone and he’s not happy and things start getting a little loud. Then another gentleman walks in and they exchange a few words and the cook walks out of the WH. We are kinds watching and like WOW. Our waitress walks over about 5 minutes later and she’s not at all happy to tell us that the cook walked out and no one can cook our food. She is nice and does the best she can under the circumstances because she told us she was just hired. WOW.... we looked around got up and walked out with no food... this was absolutely crazy... good luck with...
