Worst customer service ever. It was 10:25pm on a Saturday night. I walked in to this Sonic location with my 2 sons. When I walked in with my 2 children, the first thing I noticed was one of the workers on her cell phone (while on the clock) taking a personal call right beside the cash register. She also had on gloves. I was not greeted when I walked through the door either because the worker was on the phone. As I stood there for another 2 mins while the worker continued their personal conversation with whoever was on the other line of that phone, I stared at her, patiently waiting for her to finish talking to the person on the phone. After she hangs up the phone and finished with her conversation, she then hangs up the phone, puts the phone back in her pocket, turns around and walks to the back and stands behind a table where they prep the food. Mind you, she was just on the phone talking to whom ever with gloves on. She never took her gloves off or changed them after she finished her conversation. As she stood there, behind the table, she looked at me as if I was invisible. I continued to stare not only at her but several of the other workers that were in the back. At that point, there was still no one at the front to take my order. I stood there for another 2 mins. I noticed 3 or 4 workers in the back talking amongst themselves. None of them noticed that I was standing there with my 2 children. My thoughts to myself “This is not good. All I wanted was a caramel sundae. Am I going to get served?.” I then took my phone out, opened my camera and took a picture of what was going on. Being a business owner, this made me a little upset because I’m sure if the GM was here, this would not have happened. This Sonic location not only lost 4 great customers but they lost money, sales and revenue that pays their salaries. As I walked out the door (because no one never came to take my order), I walked back to my car and explained to my husband what just happened. I was a little sad because I really wanted that caramel ice cream sundae but I left empty handed. I wrote the managers name down that was on the door and left. Read moreToday I went to sonic mainly because Wendy’s line took so long (first red flag). So I ordered chicken tenders, fries, strawberry lemonade, and iced tea. So you know I got my order but I was really sad I couldn’t see people on roller skates because I was in drive through but that’s on me. Anyways, I went on with my day eating my fries and my chicken tenders. Fries were fine. The chicken tenders on the other hand… I took a smell and it smelled good. However, when I took a bite…it was SO NASTY. It was firm, not crispy. Dry, not juicy and very salty. It was honestly repulsive. So because I ate that my mouth became drier than my skin after not putting lotion on for 10 days, so of course I went into my iced tea to take a sip, nothing came up. I was so confused and then I felt a bit of dripping on my foot. when I turned around… OMG MY CUP HOLDER AREA WAS FLOODED. I was so upset. I had no other choice but to use my last remaining folds of my toilet paper (Charmin ultra strong) to clean it up. My cup holder ended up stick and worse of all… MY LA MER SOFT CREAM MOISTURIZER WAS FLOODED ($300)😭😭. My day was so ruined and when I went to inspect the leak, there was a nail mark. Read moreThis is probably an unfair assessment of a fairly ordinary chain, but my experience at this one was far from what I expect from Sonic. As a chain that I grew up with, Sonic is one of the few places that's "safe" no matter where you are. The hotdog chili always taste the same and the blasts are a big hit with the kids (both young and young at heart).
This review is written on one experience as I was driving through an unknown town on the way to my final destination. The service was decent but the food was poorly prepared. I order 3 meals, 1 of which was wrong. Another was hastily prepared with the condiments hanging off the side and was missing a toy (completely devistating to a 2 yo).
