The lady that took our order did not have a name tag on and was not very friendly when she took our order. We were going to order the 12 pc family meal to take advantage of your promotion to get a $10 gas card, but the lady said this restaurant was out of cards so we ordered the 8 pc family meal instead. When we got our meal the family size seasoned fries and the family size dirty rice were both half full so when I took them back to the counter to show the same lady that took our order, she looked at it and made a comment to the other workers about it being half full. Then she filled the container to the appropriate amount. Instead of giving me more fries she took the bag and threw the fries in the trash and told one of the workers to give me another fry and she walked away. I didn’t receive an apology instead she started joking with the workers about me wanting the appropriate amount of fries and they laughed. I looked in the bag of new fries and it was about the same amount as the previous bag. When we started eating the chicken it was hard and overcooked to the point that the crust was separating from the skin on the chicken, the dirty rice was cold, the fries were dried out and overcooked and the tea wasn’t sweet. We would usually talk to a manager about these issues with our food, but we noticed that the lady that had previously taken our order and was unprofessional was wearing a brown top and telling the other workers what to do so we assumed that she was probably the manager. We decided to leave, get some edible food from a better restaurant and voice our highly dissatisfied experience through the bolistens survey. We were also highly dissatisfied with men and women restrooms being out soap, out of tissue and out of paper towels even after we told the lady and not until other guests complained was something done about it. I would not recommend this Bojangles to anyone and I would appreciate it if the store manager would contact me to give...
Read moreIf it was possible to give this location negative stars, I would. Giving a one star review is actually a kindness to the general manager who was not on staff at the time. I went through the drive thru on a road trip where no real person took my order, but a real person was quicker than Lightning McQueen to take my $22 for two meals and ask us to pull forward. We sat in the drive thru ahead of the second drive thru windowfor a minimum of 15 minutes if not longer, to which no one brought out our food and my partner went in to ask for a refund because we had places to be. Because why am I waiting in the drive thru for fast food for almost 20 minutes during DINNER TIME for my partner to come out and say that out of the 5 employees that were working, but one person was preparing ALL for the food and everyone else was on their phone or attending to the drive thru window that is just taking your money by the way, not actually giving you your food? They told my partner it was going to be a wait. A WAIT?! HAD WE NOT JUST WAITED for almost 20 minutes?! WAS SOMEONE ON THEIR WAY BACK FROM THE FARM WITH THE CHICKENS? WERE THEY METICULOUSLY TAKING OFF AND PRESERVING THE FEATHERS? PERHAPS PROVIDING A EULOGY FOR MY DINNER? Honestly, anything is possible, I’m convinced that Taylor Swift found a husband faster than this Bojangles can produce a meal. Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald’s...
Read moreWhile I understand establishments can get busy, once we received our food, there was not one clean table for my family and I to sit. Two separate parties were also awaiting to sit down. More than 5 minutes later, someone came out to wipe the tables by stating “we have been so busy”. Mind you, there were atleast three other workers behind the counter joking around, pretty much getting paid to do nothing. Halfway between my meal, i noticed there was a 4 inch long plastic piece in my potatoes. We let them know, and not one thing was said. Until the shift lead came out, and asked for our receipt. She then came back with a partial refund, but argumentative to me when I just told her thank you but the refund was not needed. And a simple apology would have Been sufficient. As someone that has worked with food, I understand situations like this Happen, but don’t argue with a customer when from the start, the lack of cleanliness and professionalism was there lack of. We gave the money to the customer on duty, and told them to pay it forward to the...
