My wife and I ate here last night. The experience was so bad, it was laughable. I noticed how nasty the sign was as we walked in. It's ground level so a damp rag and 2 minutes would fix the issue but apparently that has been neglected for what appears to be years. I should have taken the sign as a sign and turned around. When we walked in, my wife said it looked like it was being remodeled. We later noticed there was just no decor. We were sat at a booth and the wall beside me was disgusting. Apparently food has been flung for years without anyone wiping it down. My menu looked like it had been run over and our napkin wrapped silverware was wet. We ordered 2 waters as I struggled to find anything decent looking on the menu. Both of our waters had stuff floating in them. I told the waitress, who seemed very lost, and she brought 2 more out. They also had stuff floating. It is probably an issue with mold growing in the ice maker, as that is common with unsanitary resturants. I again told the waitress. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp. The shrimp were nothing more than the battered ones you would get at the grocery store. The catfish was not crispy at all. I jokingly wiggled it around as we laughed at our situation. My wife questioned her Asiago chicken as it smelled off. The table across from us, a party of 4, all walked out on their food. Something appeared to be off as they were pulling their sandwiches apart and smelling them. Another table near us received food that was not as advertised and the waitress, same as ours, completely lost, struggled to explain why. My wife and I picked through our meal carefully with NO DRINKS for the entire meal and no one attempting to correct the issue. We waited and waited for our check and was blown away by noticing the card reader they use only has tip options STARTING at 18%. We were so pissed and ready to leave that I clicked 18 and grited my teeth as the total for our misery was $48. We left, went across the street to the gas station and got drinks and snacks as the meal was quite underwhelming in size and not all consumed due to being sketchy.    Read moreIf I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. My family and I stopped in last night for a nice dinner, at about 7pm. We were told the wait would be 20-30 minutes which was fine. We waited for about 45 minutes, then noticed the hostess seating another family, the same size as ours, before us, even though we checked in earlier. That wasnât even the biggest problem. Despite that, we still decided to stay because we had already been waiting. As we walk to our table, we hear a waitress complaining about why more people were being seated in her section, only to find outâŚ.this ended up being OUR waitress. She walked up to the table and introduced herself as âAmyâ and took our drink orders. We give her our drink orders and wait 10 minutes for drinks. She comes back, gives us our drinks and leaves again, not asking if we want to start with an appetizer. We wait another 15 minutes then she comes back to take our orders. I order an appetizer and we all put in our orders at the same time. She tells us there arenât many orders tonight so our appetizer should come fairly quickly. We wait another 20 minutes for the appetizer. Our main dishes come 5 mins after, and were cold. My bf orders a steak and it comes to the table medium rare. The waitress did not even ask how he wanted his steak prepared. We waited for about 30 minutes to tell the waitress the steak was undercooked because after she brings us our food she puts on her jacket and disappears outside. She finally comes back only to give us the check so we can leave so she can be off I guess. I tell her the steak is undercooked and she takes the steak to the kitchen and the cook makes it correct this time. She then hurried to give us our check and let us pay for it. We paid $116 to have bad service from the beginning to the end. I never felt so cheated in my life. Worst service ever.    Read moreStarted bad and went downhill. I ordered ice tea, salad bar and an appetizer. Made salad (decent bar, not great) and sat down. And sat, and sat, because I had no silverware. Finally flagged down waiter, he said "we ran out, they are washing some". And waited, and waited. Asked hostess for a manager - none was forthcoming. Finally he brings silverware, now my tea is empty, and I ask for a refill -- "we ran out, we will make more". Ate my salad with nothing to drink and most of appetizer, finally he comes back by (going to another table). I asked for water since there is no tea. It is hard to describe, but this guy is sullen, rude and makes you feel like you should ask for nothing. Maybe 10 minutes later I get water. Appetizer is barely edible by the way, the cheese dip is fine, the nacho chips are all stuck together and soaked in oil so they are are flexible. I give up, and when the bill comes I tell him I believe he should remove the tea charge ($3.49!) since I never got a refill after drinking it all waiting for my silverware. He said, in the rudest non-shouted voice I have ever heard "you got one tea so you have to pay for it". I finally got a manager by refusing to pay, explained all this, she seemed completely unsurprised, said he was correct, showed her the floppy chips she just said "yes". She took off the ice tea and brought the charge card machine and -- could not get it to work. After watching her futz with it for a while I found enough cash to leave -- and left.
