My daughter and I stopped at this location on our way back from spending a weekend in Ashland, OR. I don't often spend the time reviewing fast casual or fast food places specifically but let me tell you, the restaurant, its bathrooms, its service, the food, the employees, they're like a model store. If I was a brand ambassador I'd bring my prospective clients and future leaders to this store so they can see what it looks like at its optimal.
The manager was a young man, looked neat and clean, really well spoken, attentive, was hustling but still made time to speak to us, apologized for multi-tasking, I thought he was a really good leader and just empowered his people who seemed so content and happy to be there. The young lady who took our order was clear and concise, read the order back to us, offered us to save money by creating a combo meal vs. a la carte. Just really specific, really well trained and positive/happy.
If you're gonna stop somewhere, this is a good one, they did an awesome job and for those people driving that i5 corridor or on their way to Wildlife Safari, this is a good pit stop for food and just a bit of stretching out of the car. Their bathrooms were spotless, cleaner than most restaurant dining rooms and everything was just, neat, clean, where it was meant to be. We even had a brief conversation with the manager because that day the wildfire smoke was excessive and he was also surprised it had set in so quickly, but taking the time out to table touch, walk your restaurant, is priceless on the part of a leader.
I ordered the fried zucchini and onion rings, both were perfect, came with sauce, didn't have to ask. My daughter got a crispy chicken sandwich that she ranted and raved about also, so there's that. Good food, good hospitality and a quality overall visit at a fast food/fast casual...
Read moreThis review will be biased as little as possible (I work at this location as of the time Im posting this)
This location opened fully pre-covid in February 2020 and since the opening, the service has been spot on and friendly.
The menu mildy changes every 3 months so theres plenty to check out and see what's new, while plenty of staples to keep coming back for favorites.
(Mines personally the Breakfast Burger without bacon.)
And while this unfortunate virus prohibits dine-in at this time (of this review), the staff is still super friendly and the interior has the classic vibe of any of the chains prior, as well as a nice dedication to the founders next to the front register.
I would recommend anyone wanting better quality burgers than typical Kings and Archways (you know who you are). Because the lack of a dollar menu means better care and quality of food; lack of a "cheap" feeling.
That does go without saying, Carls Jr. is not a place to go if you're after cheap "dollar menu" food. The smallest burger they carry (Jr. Hamburger) is $1.80, with cheese is $2. But its made to order, fresh even during their busiest times.
To anyone who gets a hiccup in their order, though? Remember, we're all human, accidents happen. They do their best to triple check your order before it...
Read moreThe root beer mixture wasn’t right. When my wife mentioned it the cashier came behind the counter with a cup, grabbed a sample and said “ that’s what it’s supposed to look like.” My wife said it doesn’t taste right, taste it.” To which she replied ;” I don’t like root beer .” And then walked off. Completely dismissive and rude. When she brought our food I reiterated, I don’t know about the color, but the Co2 to syrup ratio is off and it taste horrible. She walked off without saying a word. I did hear her though once behind the counter talking smack to her fellow employees . A manager never spoke to us and to my knowledge the problem wasn’t fixed. I love Cjr alway have my whole life. I will continue to patronize your business I just think you should...
