LJ's Cafe — Restaurant in Oregon

Love this little cafe! I've swung by to grab coffee and sandwiches every now and then, and each visit is always so pleasant! Food is tasty, coffee is always brewed perfectly (the black & white mocha is my personal favorite), and the baked goods are perfect every time. A coffee, bagel sandwich, and muffin barely even hit the $20 mark, so I would call that pretty darn affordable.

It's definitely nice that it's on a road with not much else on it, being connected to a small business center, so its not hard to find. It's a very short trip for myself to get there, and you can't beat that convenience. Sit in, and the view isn't bad either, getting a nice view of the street with big bright windows. Of course, any time I go in the place is always fairly empty, probably just my timing, but that just gives more weight to me saying that you should go take a visit yourself.

The world is an ever-changing place, but LJ's is something I hope is...

My bestie and I came in for lunch yesterday, what a perfect experience. The place is very nice, cozy and warm. The employees were so friendly and genuinely excited that we were first time customers. One thing I loved is when we told the young lady at the counter that we were new and needed time to check out the menu she said no problem and kept herself busy but close if we needed her instead of just staring at us waiting. I really hate that. So, I got Devans dip. Hands down the best dip I've ever had! The roll they used was so soft and yummy. It was hard to stop eating it once I got full. My bestie got the grilled turkey sandwich with a vegetarian southwest soup and mmmm'd through her whole meal. This place is wonderful and we can't wait to go back again. It's going to be hard to not order Devans dip but their flatbreads...

Three entry points lead you in with easy from the large parking lot. When you enter you notice how clean and refreshing it feels. The staff is friendly and works in synergy to provide the best experience. I liked the colorful large font easy to read menus. It made chosing from a large host of options quicker. Being a New Yorker and having many breakfast sandwiches never had I had one with cream cheese added to the egg, sausage and cheese! Wow my taste buds exploded with flavor, and the bagel was soft and fresh. Being a coffee drinker I liked the fact of them using a terrific roast with no acidic taste. I had to look up the coffee company to find out it's a Portland 3rd family generation roaster. Glad to see small business helping each other. "...
