Since I live only blocks away I've been going to this particular Subway as long as I can remember and have always had a pleasant experience even though their staff seems to come and go through a revolving door... can't get too attached to one person working there because they will soon be gone. I'm not sure if that's due to poor management or lack of a good working environment provided by the owners or maybe just hiring the wrong people for the job, but recently I'm questioning theirvetting process when bringing new people on boardbecause it seems to have reached an all-time low recently with one particular pink-haired employee that is now working there. I am not sure what they were thinking when they hired this girl...
She is loud, rude, impatient and offensive, not to mention she closed & locked the store almost 10 minutes early the other night, and wouldn't even make eye contact with us as we stood outside the locked door looking confused.
Although, I suppose that was better than the night we came in a couple weeks ago and got in line behind a mother and her two children. As we were waiting for their sandwiches to be made I sat at the little table next to the line and we waited for nearly 5 minutes before she rudely yells, and I mean YELLS at us, "these are the last sandwiches I'm making tonight!" I just looked at her and said "you're not going to make our sandwiches? And she replied. "No, I am not, I'm closed now!" Huh???
If we had arrived AFTER closing time and she said something right when we walked in the door to let us know she was closed already,t would have been fine, no problem, however we were there in plenty of time and she made us wait almost 5 minutes before she said a word. It was almost like she was waiting for the clock and didn't even acknowledge us until AFTER it was past closing time.
There have been other incidents with her as well, and so we will not be patronizing this particular Subway as long as this girl is working there. I think she needs more than a few lessons in customer relations and dealing with the public in general, as well as a refresher course in basic manners.
I hope the owners see this review (and the other review complaining about the same girl), because, besides myself and my family, I wonder how many other customers they've lost (or will lose) due to this...
Read moreI couldn't believe how RUDE 2 of the employees are at this location, especially the younger female on the heavy side. I couldn't see the ingredients being put on my Sandwich prior to being toasted, then after getting a glimpse I noticed hardly any Cheese, I asked if she could put more Cheese on the Sandwich which I believe she got upset for me asking and mumbled something as I told her I didn't know what she said? Then the colored lady rudely speaks up telling me there will be an up charge for the Cheese, so I told her I wasn't going to pay an additional $3.00 for providing the amount of Cheese that I normally get on the sandwich. Then the younger girl was extremely rude and snippy with me when I asked if she could add the Onions and Bell Peppers then toast everything. I thought, maybe I better ask if that's going to also have another up-charge? After Sandwich was toasted I asked for Lettuce, Tomatoes, noticing on one end of the foot long it needed more Lettuce so I asked her for a little more, now she was huffing and snarled. I turned and looked at the other customers waiting in line with a look like "can you believe her attitude?" One of them shrugged his shoulders saying gosh I hope I don't piss her off!? Then I asked her to put a very small line of Honey Mustard and then Ranch on both sides of the sandwich, she put a heavy & thick mess of the dressing only on one side, I asked her to please remove some of the globs she put on it. She grabbed a knife with quite an attitude and removed clumps of the dressing, then threw the knife I think in a sink or something? I asked her for Olives again maybe she supplied 10 or 15 Olives, I told her to add more but don't up-charge me since I wasn't asking for any more than normally I would get? Wow, what a terrible experience with these employees. This Subway is walking distance to my house I've never experienced such rudeness before. I wish Savanna would have been the one to serve me, she is such a great girl with a very calming attitude. She could see how I was treated but I'm sure...
Read moreI am a super regular customer here. I come in super often, and it is the closest shop to my house. I went in on Saturday night, there were three people working. Younger kids. I ride an electric scooter, and have to bring it in with me as it is very expensive and I have no way to lock it up. My partner entered with his one wheel, he greeted to employees and they didn’t say a single word back. I then enter after him and greet them again, only to be told by “dotlyn” that I was not allowed to enter with my scooter because she”had just mopped”. I told her I had plenty of times before brought my scooter in and was not leaving it in the rain. I told her I’d leave it at the door. She continues to have an awful attitude the entire time she is making our sandwiches, then after someone else enters she lets us know that it is now a tripping hazard. I asked her who I complain too because I tried so hard to be nice, and she said she didn’t know. I can’t imagine working somewhere and not knowing who a customer complains too. This girl then refuses to let me know when the manager is working next so I can complain directly too her about her employees, because they apparently don’t know who I talk to. Absolutely unprofessional. How do your employees not know who I send a...
