Grinders Coffee House — Restaurant in Orem

I have been wanting to try Grinders Coffee for so long, finally went today and it did not disappoint! Went through the drive-thru while in the area and the gal that took my order/helped me was SUPER friendly and helpful! (I didn’t catch her name but she was so sweet to me and my dog, even gave her a treat, thank you!).

I tried a 16oz iced “Grinders Mocha” (white chocolate and caramel drizzle) and honestly it was PERFECT! Like that was the perfect ratio of espresso to sweet flavor, perfect amount of ice: basically 100% dream concoction. Bravo barista’s!! Nowadays it’s hard to find lattes that don’t just taste like milk.

I was not anticipating how much caramel was actually in it, but it wasn’t overwhelming at all. Even after about 15 minutes driving with it in my car, when it started melting the caramel wasn’t too strong. Great drink for someone with a sweet tooth!

They had a couple of other employees just inside the window that I could see and they were happy and laughing, so it was great to see happy people and seemed like a great atmosphere inside.

First time, going through the drive-thru. Arrived with 3 cars ahead of me. Waited maybe 2 min to order.. Line moved very fast, no more than 7 min total.

I ordered the Honey Bee, not too sweet & earthy flavored.. Just as the Barista described. I used Oat or Coconut Milk substitute, went with Oat this time since I wasn't in mood for too sweat.

I love that the have Kirkland juice boxes available for kiddos. My eldest Online schools from a school based out here & had to come to town for end of year testing.

I was greeted with a friendly face & attitude. I would definitely come back here, while visiting Orem. Their inside looks nice & would probably do a coffee date with friends, if I didn't have little people who can ruin that kind...

We opted to walk into the shop. Neither of the two employees greeted us or even looked up from what they were doing. We stood there for at least 5 minutes before even being acknowledged, let alone our order being taken. No apology or friendly greeting when that time came either. We ordered the nitro cold brew, which was watered down & bitter tasting- not smooth or creamy like other shops.
