Rick's on the Lake — Restaurant in Orion Charter Township

I’m so conflicted about Rick’s on the Lake right now.

We ordered Nachos Grande here a while back and it was amazing.

Today they had a special and I went online to remind myself what toppings it included and planned for order it again for dinner. Their website has a “Meet our Crew” section on it. I clicked wanting to know more about them and also hoping to put faces to the owners who do so much within the LO community.

That’s where it ended. One of the names was “Lyric L” and I thought surely that’s an uncommon name. So I went to the “Lake Orion Chat Room” on Facebook to confirm my suspicions. The same Lyric whose family owns Times Square is working at Ricks as he shares their specials often.

Normally I’d just let it go but after seeing this same person talking poorly to people over the entire Times Square fiasco .... I can’t justify supporting a business who would tolerate an employee speaking to anyone this way on a public forum while also representing their business.

BEST PARTY STORE EVER!!! Not as big as other Party Store's, but they have ALL the essentials. Beer, Liquor, Food and Firewood!!! Talk about a One Stop Shop!!!

I LOVE coming into Pugh's for quick after school snacks/dinners for my kids because their Coney's and Pizza are very good and it's on the way home!! The staff is amazingly friendly and I love the feeling like this is my neighborhood corner store, however, I've been noticing suspicious charges on my transaction statement from my bank. Apparently, I am being charged a different price from what I see on their register and what's actually charged to my debit card...I'm not sure if they charge a FEE for using a Debit/Credit card, but it's usually a $1-$3 difference. I heard they had good pizza, so I picked one up ... and breadsticks and cream cheese dip. I don't normally eat as much as I did but I didn't want to stop. It ALL tasted SO GOOD!! Generous with the cheese and toppings! Crispy around the edge of the crust just like I like! Great flavor for the crust, which is just chewy enough and not too poofy. I don't like a lot of bread under my toppings, just enough to carry them from my plate to my mouth. The breadsticks are fantastic and the garlic cream cheese is the best I've had. While waiting (not very long either!), a customer came in and said you can't go wrong with the nachos and another said the breakfast pizza is excellent and I have to try it. So I'll be back again and again!...
