Creamery Ice Cream — Restaurant in Orland Township

I'm truly baffled at the level of incompetence that I witnessed tonight. I ordered the strawberry shortcake sundae after realizing they no longer carried Rainbow Cone. It looked NOTHING like the picture....it was a mound of vanilla with a few strawberries. I was expecting an actual sundae, at least comparable to what was advertised. I decided to take it back and give them another shot. This time they gave me THE SAME EXACT THING, minus the nuts, that I had to ask for....there was no strawberry drizzle and only a tiny piece of the shortcake crammed under the even fewer strawberries. I'm not sure how, even with 5 employees working (on a Tuesday night, mind you), it still took 20 minutes to get through the drive thru and they messed up the order TWICE!!.....I just feel bad for the poor girl that was working her behind off, legitimately BABYSITTING these "employees". This place can’t handle an order more then 4 people without messing up, after trying to ask for my missing $3 ice cream for my son they trying to argue with me that I didn’t pay for it. I had no problem with that even though they didn’t give me a receipt. I walked back to the cashier for her tell me that I did pay for it. They starting arguing among each other whether I paid for it or not while my little one is crying for his ice cream because all his brother and sister have theirs. After all this they gave me the missing ice cream however it was not in a cup like I originally ordered. Not only they embarrassed me because my frustration was showing and people around me looking at me like I am trying to scam a $3 ice cream. I paid $32 and change in ice cream. Why would I scam a $3 kiddie ice cream. Horrible...

I love the food and usually get great service. But every time i go on a tuesday i get pretty bad service. I went with a group and had my sister order first because she had somewhere to be at 7pm. She ordered 2 hot dogs and a polish at 6:20. My friend & i ordered a lot more than that and both got our stuff before she did. When we asked about it at 6:30 we recieved eye rolls and were told it would be right up...still at 6:45 she did not have her food. We asked what was taking so long and they said the polish sausage was made to order. At that time she asked for a refund because she had to leave. They clearly forgot about the order and seemed annoyed when we tried to inquire about it. Not the first time i had less than professionlal service from this place...
